This hotel is located nicely just out of the centre but only a 5 minute walk so great location for us as its nice and quiet. Its also facing a very good supermarket so great to buy some bits. The hotel was very good with COVID measures and all staff were very friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean and cleaners were always out. The pool is this hotels asset with a gorgeous view over the Bay of Naples, it was nice and quiet with enough loungers for guests. The breakfast buffet had so much choice and the staff were very attentive to explain the COVID measures showing where the gloves were to handle the buffet, and advised face masks to be worn. The rooms were very spacious and the balcony was lovely overlooking the bay. My only criticism was the quality of the bed, we stayed for 2 nights and my back was hurting by the second night. They seemed very old and could do with replacing with new comfy mattresses. I will definitely be back though and recommending to stay.

We stayed for 5 night in Room 114 finishing- 11th September. Situated on the ground floor, it was fine for us retirees .Weather perfect. 26c Highs. Clean, comfortable and enjoyable. Continental breakfast was sufficient and tasty; staff very helpful. Small Pool-great view- pleasant to splash about after a long day. Great base for an exploring holiday. Station only a 10 min walk. Beach-via lift-the same. We did Capri-don't miss the chair lift at AnaCapri-amazing views and so serene. 12 person boat tour of Amalfi coast a must visit trip too. Also off the beaten track, try the bay train running on the half hour to Naples and back. Lovely places to explore inc. Pompeii,Herculaneum,Vesuvius .Visit the verniculam to the top of the mountain at Castellammare-alpine setting and beautiful. Final word. Best investment in time was 10 minute chat with Giovanni at Tempio Travel situated at the Station in the Resort. Experienced, helpful, sophisticated insights and excellent English. Best holiday we have had in 41 years marriage. It was an anniversary treat.

We really enjoys our time at Hotel Rivage. If you have a gluten problem, the hotel will provide you with a gluten free basket of breads and cakes etc at the breakfast bar. You just need to tell them you need gluten free and they will bring you a basket of alternatives to the table. I really appreciated this from them. The hotel is in a really great location and has parking. Parking was 25€ per day but its better than trying to park outside. the parking is really tight so dont think you can park your hummer in there. The pool is great, and it was nice to be out for the day in Pompeii, Naples or just touring around and getting into that pool with an Aperol Spritz. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone but especially if you want a great gluten free breakfast as well.

Great hotel for the price. We arrived in the morning and were able to leave our bags, change and go to the pool for a few hours til they were able to check us in around 1pm. The pool is perfect with a great view. The location was wonderful as well a short walk to the main square and marina grande. Only complaint is the beds are not very comfortable

Really pleasantly surprised by this lovely hotel. Great location for exploring Sorrento, on the main road BUT no excessive noise, very clean with a lovely view from the restaurant and bar area. 10 minute walk from the station, and very close to all amenities including the harbour and beach. Super friendly staff, all spoke exceptionally good English and were very patient. Would definitely stay here again. Great value for money.
