Very good, budget friendly option for Sorrento. The old town is just a walk away, you have lots of stores around, it's situated on one of the main streets. It s very close to the train station. The rooms were modern and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. I recommend it :)
Lovely hotel, lovely friendly helpful staff from reception through to the cleaning staff. Perfect location for a stay in Sorrento. 5 minutes walk to Piazza Tasso, 2 minutes walk to the train station. Yes it was a bit noisy outside, but if you choose to stay in a central hotel you expect it, and it was great watching the night life go by from the balcony. Everything was perfect, we loved it.
Amazing stay! Stuff is super friendly, especially Genaro. He was very helpful with navigation through the city, making breakfast (everything was clean). Manager was nice as well, they give me upgrade to a bigger room and brand new shower. The location was perfect, I walked everywhere. The cleaning lady was there every day, the beds are comfortable. You cannot ask better stay at small Sorrento :)
I am writing this review at the hotel at 7:00 on Saturday morning. I was awoken at 6:00 when the cafe downstairs opened. Loud intermittent banging, loud talking and then the radio/TV. It is not a though the hotel is full. Far from it, thanks to COVID. But we were billeted directly overhead the cafe - and there is no sound-proofing. The room is nice, clean & modern with very good AC. Unfortunately, it does not come with a full night's sleep.
This hotel is in the perfect location being just 2 minutes from the train/bus stations, With connections to the sites of Naples, Herculaneum, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. My room was large, clean and comfortable with incredible air conditioning.. The room had a balcony which was perfect for people watching over the busy strip. The WiFi was excellent and fully secure. There is a rooftop terrace with comfy seating and sun loungers. The breakfast is all you can eat buffet with plenty of choices of cereals, cakes, breads with ham and cheese sliced to order. The host is a lovely lady who is happy to advise on transports, visits and restaurants. A recently refurbished hotel, which will be a full 3 star very soon I’m sure.
Impecably clean! Great breakfast, Helpful and caring reception. Great Open air area to enjoy in the evenings. Good location, closes to buses and ferries. Loved it! Please consider this a great share There is also a Tour Rep in the Lobby
We stayed in room 302 which was right up the top so some stairs were required but nothing to worry about. Our room was of a good size, basic but clean. The shower was a bit small but that would not change our minds about how much we enjoyed our stay. We had a small balcony outside where we enjoyed a couple of drinks of an evening easily big enough to fit the 3 adults in our group. Closeness to bus and train station was wonderful as we walked from the bus and caught the train to Pompeii. It was also a couple of minutes from eateries and the main shopping area which was a lovely walk every night. Great stay at a great price would highly recommend
The Hotel Nice is situated on the main street in Sorrento, so a great location, close to the train station if you want a visit to Pompeii. We loved our room at the back of the hotel with a beautiful Italian garden as our view from the window. The continental breakfast was very nice and the reception staff very friendly and helpful. Extremely clean being another plus. Would stay there every time.
We stayed here the last few days of September, and it was brilliant, the staff we’re helpful, the rooms are modern, and well equipped, we stayed on the first floor, a room on the corner which had a good size balcony (105). Comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. The breakfast was continental , with plenty of choice, with good coffee. The exterior disguises the gem within. Just a short walk down Corsa Italia, right in the heart of the city, also its only 100 metres from the railway station, and bus depot.
After booking to stay in Naples for a long weekend and being really dissatisfied myself and my husband booked one night here to get away . I have nothing but good things to say!! Our room 302 had a lovely little private balcony with a table and chairs . Not the most spectacular view ,but a view that was a thousand times better than our one in Naples. The bed was comfortable the bathroom had everything you need and the TV even had English channels . The hotel is lovely and close to the station which has a direct train to and from Naples to Sorrento . Also passing through Pompeii . With a 2 minute walk you're in the hub of shops and restaurants and beautiful views . I can't stress how much I absolutely loved being in Sorrento . It is a beautiful place to go and I will most definitely be returning and planning also on staying back at hotel nice hopefully in room 302. The breakfast is really nice and even had twinnings breakfast tea!!! …
