I am not sure where to start. From booking to departure the experience was first class! I am so happy we were able to stay here. The staff here are so accommodating from greeting you on arrival to being open to make any arrangements needed while you are there. Maria and her folks go out of their way to make sure your stay is special. I could go on about the views and the great rooms but the most important part of any stay for me is how the people at the place make you feel. Maria and her team make you feel as if you are one of the family. We even got to meet some of her actual family including her grandson just when we were missing ours of similar age. The breakfast is spectacular and so fresh and unique. The lemon and orange groves are amazing and so authentic. This was our last stop on our Italian trip and I must say it was bellissimo! It's understandable this is the number 1 rated hotel in Sorrento. The rooms are bright modern clean with incredible views of the bay of Napoli and Mount Vesuvius. Maria the owner is incredibly gracious host, she makes fresh pastries everyday and daily fresh squeezed orange juice from the trees on the property, known for the home of Limoncello.Very welcoming feeling beautiful breakfast every day with amazing views. There's a handy shortcut to get to the Centro of Sorrento. A real gem.

We spent the last four days of our time in Italy here, a perfect wa to end our trip. Gates to the property open to reveal a long driveway lined with lemon trees. Room was well appointed with a beautiful view. For breakfast they offered a variety of homemade cakes, jams, as well as fruits, cereal, yogurts, all beautifully displayed. The rooftop deck has lounge chairs with shades and a jacuzzi. We loved our stay here and hope to return.

The most incredible place ever! Maria and her staff are beyond wonderful! The love and passion they have for what they do is evident in everything at Villa Oriana. This is one of those little gems that you come across from time to time… it’s a small family run hotel that is about a 20 minute walk from downtown Sorrento… the morning breakfast is spectacular and they paid attention to all the details including folks who had gluten free needs, shuttles to downtown restaurants, easily accessible info on ferries and trains, etc. The room was well appointed, cosy linens, small bathroom but very well laid out, and the hotel is very quiet at night which is wonderful! Parking is onsite and you use an access code to get in the front gate… A few nights, we walked into down for dinner and then a taxi back to the potty from Tasso Square without a hitch…Bottom line, book this place, don’t worry that’s it’s not right down town, enjoy the gorgeous property, and soak in this beautiful region……

Villa Oriana Relais is situated on a hillside above Sorrento in a beautiful lemon grove, well away from the busy city centre and with spectacular views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The 20 minute walk into the Sorrento, which we enjoyed, gave us a healthy appetite. The room was spacious, quiet, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with a very pleasant terrace. Breakfasts were a treat with delicious, fresh local produce and a selection of cakes baked every day by Maria and her sister. But more than this it was the people that made our stay so special. Service was excellent - Maria and her staff were so warm and hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. With their help I celebrated a very memorable birthday. At the end of our holiday we felt like family – we cannot recommend highly enough - and we are looking forward to returning some time soon. Steve, Olga & family…
