A friend and I stayed here for two nights while on a tour of some of the major archaeological sites of the area. There could be no more beautiful place than the hotel's location on the Tyrrhenian Sea, looking back toward Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. The hotel's public spaces and gardens are lovely. Our room looked out over the water,...

The hotel was stunning, very clean and comfortable. The staff were really lovely and friendly. The continental breakfast delicious, but the cooked breakfast was always cold. No flexibility with room service. Although charged for breakfast on last day but leaving before restaurant open we asked if coffee could be brought up to room (happy to pay for room service) or...

Loved, loved, loved this hotel, staff, restaurant, and location. This was a wonderful way to end my vacation. The rooms, the views and centrally located couldn't ask for anything more. Can't wait to return to Sorento and hopefully stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is steeped in literary history and as you turn the corner of the main road leading from the square so this impressive hotel stands in the most beautiful gardens. You go down a small cobbled drive which leads to the main door. You enter an amazing reception area with sofas chairs and tables laid out and beautiful flower...

We got a room on the top floor with amazing views over the Bay Of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. They have their own elevator to the beach and a small car park [basically in their driveway]. Breakfast was fine [though we had had better in other hotels] as a buffet, which seems the easiest thing. Worth it just for the...

Our first visit to Sorrento and with teenagers we decided to take no risks on the hotel so went for one of the best. Working to "you get what you pay" and some solid reviews on TA we went for the H Tramontano. The Taxi driver at Naples airport area said on route that it was one of the top...

We recently spent the last 4 days of our holiday at this once grand hotel in the centre of Sorrento. There are many things in favour of this hotel, including the spectacular views of the bay of Naples from some of the bedrooms as well as the views from the dining/breakfast room/bar areas. Service in the breakfast room was also...

We arrived for our first night in Italy to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and were delighted as we drove up to the Tramontano. We had a lovely room on the 3rd floor overlooking the hotel pool and gardens with a lovely balcony! The complimentary bottle of prosecco was a lovely treat to find in our room, complete with king...

This is an hotel of extremes. The dining area supported by an excellent & imaginative chef is very good. The bar & the 2 guys that man it is top drawer. The views (if your room offers you that facility) across the Bay are spectacular. The hotel is situated in the heart of the old town which means a few...
