We stayed here for 4 nights in mid May 2019. I forgot to write the review. The place is fantastic and the staff is impeccable. The view from our room was unbelieveable. The hotel is literally built into the cliff. We had a room with a balcony over looking the bay. We ate breakfast here every moring and it was quite a buffet. Lots of fresh fruit, cheese, breads and of course eggs and fixings. We also ate dinner her twice and it was excellent. The crepes flambe for desert were fantastic. The hotel has a nice little ar area fro for drinks. There is also a really nice outdoor area to take a bottle of wine and just watch the bay. There is also a nice pool deck (with a bar tender) to sun and enjoy a dip in the ocean. Again the staff was fantastic. They quickly arranged a car for us to go to Positano for the day. Also a short walk from the hotel is a really nice market area about 3 streets wide with restaurants and shops. great place to get souvenirs. I highly recommend stay here if you are in Sorento.

Hotel's Favorite
We had a wonderful week here over Easter, our Jr. Suite was newly refurbished and perfect, the sea views are breathtaking, the gardens and property are so lovely and also an oasis from the busier smaller villages along the Amalfi Coast. The service at the pool was excellent and the concierge will help with everything especially planning trips to see the other villages. Excellent concierge service. The hotel is close enough to walk into the town and the train station which is convenient but also far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The food is good, unfortunately only the fine dining restaurant was open during our stay. Sorrento is a great place to be based while visiting the Amalfi Coast. I highly recommend it.

I stayed here with my wife in 2009 and the hotel is just wonderful. Everything about it from the lobby to the room was incredible. The food in the restaurant was a tad overpriced compared to the quality you could get from the nearby restaurants but was otherwise fantastic. The staff was above average, losing points only for being very aloof. If this is what you prefer though, then they were otherwise good at their jobs. The pool was wonderful as was the man-made cove you swam in for an ocean dip. You have to take an elevator down through the cliff face to get to the dock. We had a top floor room with a huge corner balcony and the balcony alone was worth every penny we paid to stay here. Sitting out on that balcony in two easy chairs while holding hands with my wife and feeling the breeze blow in off of the Mediterranean as the magnificent sun set is the happiest memory of my life. I apologize for taking so long to write this review. I just noticed as I was submitting a review for a recent holiday that this was the one location I forgot to review from our honeymoon.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is absolutely stunning. The grounds are breathtaking. The views from the room where breakfast is served are just incredible. The bathing platform was the perfect place to relax after a busy week in Rome. It is spacious and you can climb down a few steps into the sea. I was worried my kids would be bored not being on a “real” beach but they were very happy there. We had a room facing the sea and the views from there were also lovely. The room we had was a very nice size by European hotel standards. Service was good but a bit stuffy. It is about a 15-20 minute walk into the adorable town. Not far, but a bit much in the August heat. The breakfast at the hotel was good and had many choices. We had dinner there one night and it was not great.

We stayed for 2 nights and then moved to another hotel in Sorrento and I was sorry we did. I'd much rather have stayed longer here, but the hotel was fully booked out, so if you are thinking of staying here, book quickly to avid disappointment; you won't be sorry. A large hotel overlooking the sea, perched on a cliff but walkable from Sorrento town centre. Or room was lovely and very clean and pretty, with a large bathroom. We had expensive cocktails on arrival which came with a selection of nibbles. But I find cocktails always go so quickly and at 15-20 euro each, this can prove to be very expensive, but you are paying for your surroundings. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and you can get a lift from the top of the cliff to the sea below where you can use the hotel sunbeds. All in all, a really goof hotel and I'd definitely stay here again. Check out my photos of the hotels and check out my other reviews of Sorrento and beyond. If this review was helpful, please give me a Like/Thumbs Up.
