This is a very nice hotel at a bargain price. All superior rooms (like ours) are larger and have a balcony overlooking the busy Corso d'Italia. Quite noisy, but the balcony door is well soundproofed. The restaurant feels like group travel – with a fixed-price evening menu at a fixed time. Disregard and go downtown instead. Despite its name, Hotel...

We stayed here with a tour group and found most aspects of the hotel more than adequate. Despite the fact there were two groups staying here, the hotel didn't feel crowded. The room was nice--clean, well-appointed. The bathroom was not large, but a decent size. The breakfasts had many typically European choices and were quite tasty. The location is good,...

Best service out of all the hotels we stayed at in Rome. Location is good, short walk to the piazza but is located on the very busy main street. Rooms have balconies, but it's too noisy to enjoy them.. make sure you ask for a room on the back side, still no view but at least it's quiet.

On a recent visit to Sorrento we stayed in this hotel. Very nice lobby with comfortable rooms. Bathrooms were all fairly modern and updated. Rooms were clean and most were spacious enough. The breakfast was very good, with many choices of pastries and other foods. The hidden gem was the roof top garden area with views of the Bay of...

We got to this hotel through an offer on Groupon, and I don't regret it. Although it is not located nearby the harbor/train station and you must walk a bit (around 20 min with luggage from the harbor) it was worth it - the Hotel is located on Corso Italia 254 (http://www.hotelcentralsorrento.it/en/). Friendly staff, nice and clean rooms. They have...

Hotel Central, a hotel offered by a Gate 1 tour, was interesting. We had a distant view of the Bay of Napoli and Vesuvius from our third floor room. It was not a place where we could walk comfortably to the Bay as it was on a very busy main coastal road going into Sorrento with difficult sidewalks or at...

At the Northern entrance to the Amalfi Coast, right on the main coastal road, shortly after entering Sorrento, you will easily find on the Mediterranean side of the street this nice hotel, affiliate of the Colonna Hotels (try colonnahotels.com). It has a restaurant, swimming pool, and on the Mediterranean side, especially from the 4th floor windows, amazing views of the...
