I had to find a hotel in Sorrento at the last minute and found Villa Angiolina through a quick search. And boy how lucky was I to find this place! The hotel is about a ten-to-fifteen-minute walk away from Corso Italia and all the bars and restaurants. Coming from the centre, the walk is mainly uphill, so something to consider if you're walking from the bus or train station and you have heavy bags with you. Also, don't be put off by the fact the Villa is surrounded by apartments. Once you're there you really won't notice! The check-in process was painless. Once you provide them with your mobile number, they'll get in touch via WhatsApp or by calling you. Depending on what time you arrive determines whether the reception is open or not. Either way, they will make sure that you will get met by somebody to get your room card and shown to your room. The rooms come with breakfast and usually, this is served either in-room or in the reception area. With the requirements for social distancing, they only provide it to the room, but every room has an outside table so you can have it outside if you want. Now on to the room itself. I stayed in a single room, which was on the ground floor behind reception. The room was big for a single room, with a queen-size bed and a decent sized bathroom off it. There was a large wardrobe and a desk in there too. The climate control in the room was excellent, something which can be a bit hit-and-miss in Sorrento. Blackout curtains were also a bonus! You also have a small fridge, and there was a welcome half-bottle of white wine in there when I arrived. You could easily stay as a couple in the single room, if you're just using it as a base. But there are larger rooms throughout the Villa, which I can only assume are just as good as the room I had, just larger. Finally, I just want to mention the fantastic customer service I received. Again, this can be hit-and-miss in Sorrento. But from the moment I arrived to the moment I left I was looked after brilliantly by the whole team at the Villa. They would always go out of their way to say hello, and are available for any kind of advice or suggestions for days out. They can also organise trips to Amalfi, Capri, etc. I felt really relaxed at Villa Angiolina, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet location to rest, but only minutes from the action!

Everything was perfect here. The location is so quiet and safe yet only a short stroll to the centre of Sorrento and with local shops and cafes nearby. Great communications before we arrived. Lovely, helpful, friendly staff. Exceptionally clean and well equipped with fridge and tea/coffee facilities and we enjoyed having breakfast brought to our rooms. Spacious room with comfortable bed. It was delightful to stay in this well run establishment with its green shaded gardens.

What a wonderful place!. Once we walked in, we were surrounded by Kiwi trees, lemon, orange and pomegranate. We were greeted by two really helpful girls and also the manager/daughter of owner . The location is really close to the train station and the centre of the town (shops, restaurants, etc). For your breakfast you have to make a selection of what you want from the day before so they can deliver it to your private Vila/ room at the time you want it to eat inside or in your private balcony area. The orange juice was my favorite, fresh from the fruit with nothing added to it. We definitely wanna to come back to this GEM

We are leaving today from this amazing little hideaway. We loved every minute here. Our emmaculate room had a wonderful private patio, spacious bathroom, lots of storage and comfy bed. When we arrived the always cheerful staff greeted us with a cold almond milk. There was a chilled Prosecco in our room. Breakfast is delivered to your patio every morning. The path in, has kiwi vines guiding your way with lemon and orange trees surrounding the walls. It is 5minutes walking to old Sorrento and all of the restaurants. We will be back!! Ciao❤️

Located less than 10 min away from the city center, this little but excellent BB guarantees a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. We stayed there for one entire week. Very quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by a lovely garden full of fruit trees, It's very clean, breakfast is tasty (they also have lactose free milk), personnel & reception are very friendly welcoming, kind and able to provide useful information. Relaxing swing-chairs garden. They also land books (different genres) that have to be given back at the end of the staying. Special thanks to the middle-age cleaning lady, who ironed one of our shirts and gave us the sweet brioches from the patisserie on our last day and all the effort she made to help us! Thank you also to all the reception stuff. We strongly recommend it and we might come back in the next years!
