Stayed at this beautiful, unique small hotel in the heart of the old town. Everything was as advertised, lots of choice for breakfast and attentive staff. Check in was smooth and the room was well equipped, complimentary water, daily and a few extras on arrival, bottle of cava and some handmade biscuits. The location is perfect for exploring Sorrento and close to lifts to the harbour. Approximately a 10 minute walk from the train station, where the pre booked coach from Naples Airport, dropped us off. I certainly would return to this hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly.

What a wonderful find! The Antica Dimora is an historic and luxurious setting right in the very heart of Sorrento. The rooms are large, comfortable and above all beautifully cool due to the very effective (and necessary) air conditioning. Breakfast was al fresco and an excellent choice every morning thanks to Giusy who obviously takes great pride in ensuring everything is perfect. My husband particularly liked her ‘special’ omlettes especially the tomato and Sorrento marmalade one, which sounds wrong but was delicious! Jiusy also did a wonderful job of ensuring our rooms were meticulously clean. Rafaella on reception was also very helpful- booking taxis and advising us on the best ice creams to have from their ice cream parlour ‘Academie’. My husband and I both recommend salted pistachio. All in all if you are in Sorrento you can not go wrong staying at this small (it only has 4 rooms) but very special hotel.

Wow wow wow what an amazing week me and my new wife have just spent in Sorrento staying at the Anitica Dimora Magi.
First of all the hotel is pristine and has been finished to the highest standard in every aspect, the breakfast is beautiful with a big selection of options ,we always liked a freshly cooked cheese omelette.
The location is perfect being virtually in the centre of Sorrento so everything is easy to get to.
Now the icing on the cake to this beautiful place is the staff all 3 of them Guisy,Nicolai and Raphaella. from start to finish nothing was ever too much and made our wedding day so much easier so both me Cheryl thank you so so much.
We can't rate the place and staff highly enough .

The hotel could not have been better situated. Walk out and you are in the center of it all without all of the noise that can sometimes accompany hotels like this in Europe. The room size was great. Comfortably fit 3 adults and the staff was accommodating to any requests. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for 3 nights 22nd/25th June 2023. We couldn't fault the friendly and professional service we received from the lovely staff at this hotel. It is situated centre town amid all the wonderful restaurants and lively bars/shops, yet the hotel itself is quiet and beautifully renovated, keeping many of the original 16th century walls and artefacts. Breakfast in the little courtyard was a delight and the facilities in the room were excellent. We needed extra water/milk etc which was bought to us immediately and any question we had was answered. We felt in very good hands. It might not be the biggest hotel in Sorrento, but we would certainly be happy to return again one day to sample the same hospitality. We also thought its location was perfect, central to all the restaurants and within walking distance of all ports and places of interest. Highly recommend.

Excellent boutique hotel situated in the centre of the town with shops and restaurants within walking distance The rooms have been tastefully decorated creating a comfortable atmosphere, the courtyard itself is a place you can relax having sunbeds and a jacuzzi pool. The breakfasts were of a high calibre with omelettes cooked while you wait , and the choice worthy of a larger establishment. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them . All in all a really excellent hotel in a great location

We stayed at Magi House Antica Dimora for our wedding week in what we would describe as a magical place with a lovely architectural design and great location- in the heart of Sorrento. We stayed in the Caracalla Suite with spa tub which was a beautiful spacious room with all the amenities you could need and the room was always kept immaculate. The breakfast option was great with so much choice from delicious fresh pastries to fresh omelettes. The jacuzzi and garden is a lovely area to relax during the day.
In our opinion, we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay during our wedding week. We feel the staff is what sets this hotel apart. As soon as you arrive the staff make you feel at home and throughout our stay they couldn't do enough for us. It is due to the staff that made our stay unique and unforgettable;
To all the staff at Antica Dimora; we thank-you for making our wedding stay more memorable than we could of ever imagined! The little touches from our delicious wedding cake to champagne and cappuccinos with a smile is what made our stay that little more extra. We were so touched by your kindness and hospitality. A special thanks to Guisy who is such a sweetheart, nothing was ever too much trouble and by the end our stay we felt we had made a friend in you. Many thanks to the lovely Raphaella for your attentiveness and exceptional manner & assisting me on my wedding day which was truly touching! A big thanks also to Nicolai who always made us feel welcome during our stay.
Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank-you from the bottom of our hearts! We cannot wait to return to Antica Dimora on future anniversaries and see you all again soon!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Antica Dimora Magi. I wasn't sure what to expect from a bed and breakfast in Sorrento, but was so glad we stayed here. The hotel is immaculate! It is located in a restored 16th century building. The room was spacious. The air conditioning worked great. The breakfast is amazing! It is in the historic center. You can walk to everything. The hotel is on a small pedestrian street. Even though the street is busy with restaurants and shops, we never heard any street noise in our room. The hotel is very quiet. Our driver dropped us off in a square nearby. Roberta met us there and helped us with our bags for the 2 minute walk.
We stayed for 6 nights in the Armida Suite. We booked it because it had a kitchen. We didn't cook, but it was great to have a full refrigerator. There are several grocery stores nearby. We picked up wine, cheese, fruit and snacks to have on our balcony. We didn't want to eat out every night. We had a washer and a drying rack that came in handy since we had been traveling for 2 weeks prior to arriving.
The best thing by far about staying at Antica Dimora Magi is the staff! We were pampered by Roberta, Annabella, Giusy and Emma. They made us feel like family. We were truly sad to say goodbye. Giusy was like an Italian grandmother, filling us up each morning with an amazing breakfast and always wanting us to try something else from the spread she put out. She even makes omelettes or crepes.
If we return to Sorrento, we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

If you want to stay in a small boutique hotel that is in a great location, walking distance to everything, lots of shopping, many great restaurants, don’t hesitate to stay at the Antica Dimora Magi Hotel. Although these reasons are what people like when booking a hotel, the main reason for booking this hotel is that the staff is so welcoming and wonderful, they make you feel like family. They cannot do enough to make your stay better than excellent. Waking up to a beautiful breakfast, in a beautiful courtyard, with many smiling faces, is a great way to start your day. The rooms are very comfortable, our room had plenty of room for 3 adults. Cleanliness is a definite 5/5. Thank you to all that made our stay so memorable, Anna Bella, Emma, Juzy and everyone else that we had the pleasure of meeting during our visit! Wow. Just stunning, the rooms, the team that run the place and Sorrento itself. Just perfect from start to finish. It's a perfect location, breakfast is amazing, and the team, Rafaella, Nicolai and Guisy cannot do e ough to help. We returned today from a week's stay in Caracalla Suite which is stunning. We held our wedding in Sorrento while staying and Rafaella and the team went above and beyond every day to make us feel so special and help in anyway they cluld from dry ckeaning, to taxis, flower deliveries to booking a seperate room for the groom the night before the wedfing. They sorted a dry clean and press of the groom suit with a 24 hkur turn around includingdelivery and collection, and included so many lovely surprises through our stay it was truly amazing. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to EVERYONE, we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sorrento after being here, and we are already planning to return for our first anniversary. Thank you to all the team, you made our perfect day into a perfect week. We will see you again very soon! X
