Villa Silvana is by far the best hotel experience we have ever enjoyed on our numerous travels. From the minute we arrived and were offered welcome drinks to the time we sadly departed the staff were incredible. Nothing was too much and we were made to feel very special. Dino, the hotel manager, was so helpful and went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect. Our room had the best view I have ever seen, over-looking the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius and Capri. We made sure to watch the sunset every evening as it went down behind the island of Capri and every time we watched in amazement, it was just like a painting. The hotel itself is hidden behind large iron gates just a 5 minute walk from the town centre. When we walked through the gates we entered a tropical paradise with the extremely impressive colonial style hotel at the end of the driveway. Every time we stepped into the hotel we entered a world of calm with soft jazz music playing in the background and the troubles of the world disappeared instantly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Sorrento and it is perfect in every aspect. The hotel is 5* all the way, the staff so friendly and attentive, the location, the breakfast, the ambience, the view from the top room (or should I say villa perched on top of the hotel) is unparalleled and the room itself was stunning. I cannot think of any more words to describe the hotel! Many thanks to Dino, Jullie and all of the staff for making our stay so special. We plan to be back soon!

Amazing Family run Hotel in a stunning location in Sorrento, especially the fabulous breakfast served overlooking the Vesuvius volcano. Each room is different name - named after Mrs Silvana's Grandchildren! Refurbished to a very high standard and lovely modern style. We look forward to returning to this stunning hotel. Villa Silvana is very special! The villa, the property, the rooms, the view, the beauty, the cleanliness, the breakfast and the service is all total perfection. You can see the love that the owners have put in making this place an unforgettable experience for their guests! The rooms are very spacious with beautiful sea views and onto the Vesuvius. Don't forget to have breakfast on the terrace. Maybe - if you get as lucky as we did - you get the best home-made pastries ever tasted. The location is also perfect. Short walk to the nice streets of Sorrento and an ideal location for seeing sights.. It is easy to take a day-tour to Capri and visit the various towns along the Amalfi coast. Our stay was too short, will be back for sure!!

Just returned from this delightful private hotel, passionately managed by a private Italian family to meticulously high standards. Approached by a long private gated driveway with mature plantation the hotel offers the most amazing backdrop views of the bay and Naples beyond, spectacular does not describe it - sunrises to sunsets. Breakfast was amazing sitting on the veranda terrace with an array of sumptuous offerings. Immaculately clean throughout and a top class room as standard.
