Magi House Relais is located in the historical centre of Sorrento, in Via Padre Reginaldo Giuliani, in one of the most characteristic "alleys" of Sorrento. A strategic position: you won’t need to rent a car or use the public transportation. Everything you need is within walking distance. The wonderful cloister of San Francesco and the Villa Comunale overlooking the sea are located 50 meters from the entrance of the relais. And, thanks to the new lift located in the Villa, you are only 50 meters away from the beach/port. Piazza Tasso, the main square of Sorrento, is 100 meters away from Magi House. All of our rooms, aparments and suites are equipped with all the comforts that guests need for an enjoyable stay. The furnitures are modern and elegant especially in our gem, the Nettuno suite, which has a private outdoor Jacuzzi on the terrace, the ideal place to spend relaxing moments with your partner or the family. We do have also a luxury venue “Magi House Antica Dimora” , located few meters away from our main building, which is even more charming! If you wish to organize excursions around Sorrento, avoiding the stress of the car, the location of our relais is also strategic: Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples can be reached by train using the Circumvesuviana line, while Positano and the Amalfi Coast can be reached by bus, leaving from the bus station located only 400 meters away. You can reach Capri and Ischia by ferry and hydrofoil that depart from the Marina Piccola, a few minutes walking distance by public elevator.

Magi House sets on an idyllic street filled with great shops and restaurants, which is a warm welcome for any visitor to Sorrento. Guest rooms are contemporarily styled in neutral tones of beige and creams, and provide all the comforts one would need while visiting. Breakfast for an additional cost is provided, and guests are able to select from an array of homemade pastries, quiche, and fresh-squeezed juices, which I loved!!! There's even a tea and reading room on site. The staff at Magi House was great! Special shout out to Niccolo (sp?) and Rossana for their assistance during my visit. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at Magi House. It is in the perfect location, just a few meters from the lift to the beach, 2 streets over from the main street, and a short walk to the train station. The staff greeted us upon arrival and carried our luggage to the room, which I thought was very nice. They were super helpful in booking us a day at Marameo Beach Club and answered general questions about the area. I will definitely be staying here again and will recommend it to anyone staying in Sorrento!

This place was amazing. First the location couldn’t be more perfect. It is on a busy side street in the heart of the shopping district. The side street is foot traffic only which is really nice! We stayed in the medditerranea room which is an apartment with a bed in the loft area and a pullout couch on the main floor which sleeps 2 additional people. This was perfect for our family of four. The room was clean and very nice and the AC unit kept the room wonderfully cool. When we arrived, there was a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting and several small boxes of cookies and candies. The staff were AMAZING. We did not have dinner reservations which can be a problem in Sorrento during the busy season but they were more than happy to call a few places to make reservations for us. They also helped us book a last minute private boat tour of Capri which was fantastic. The breakfast was decent and had a great location on the outdoor terrace. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

Boutique hotel with clean and simple design. Warm welcome and helpful assistants by the staff. The staff assist us to arrange and reserve all local tour and transportation to Rome with good price and best service compare to other online tour agency. This us a extra additiinal calue where the hotel provided.
The breakfast by hotel is fantastic and the pastry n food is so special because it make by same roof pastry shop.
The location of hotel is great. Just by walk can go round to beach and town.

My daughter and I stayed at Magi house for 4 days. The location is amazing, it is in the pedestrian only area of Sorrento so you can walk pretty much everywhere, including the bus and train station. The staff was incredibly helpful. I had an accident on our last day there and fell down some stairs severely twisting my ankle. Raffaella, the hotel manager was amazing going way above and beyond to help us out. She helped wrap my ankle in the morning and even escorted and stayed with me at the emergency room that evening, aiding as a translator and friend. I can't say enough about how helpful she was. Would definitely stay here again.

From the fantastic birthday cake on arrival for my partner, to the professional and guest focused staff. I can not speak highly enough about this Hotel. Clean, fantastic location with sound proof windows to promote a good night's sleep. We had a small issue that was resolved instantly, and the staff were so apologetic. Rooms a good size, with good facilities including a fridge. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable to meet all the guests needs. Breakfast had a good selection of pasteries, cold meats, cereal and nuts and seeds. A wider selection of fruits is my only suggestion for the whole experience. Private transfers organised by the hotel were of a high standard, prompt and made the journey to/from the hotel effortless. I would highly recommend this hotel to single travellers , couples or families to book.

Maggi house rating is misleading. It you look for a boutique hotel in Sorrento , stay in Tramonto, Continental or Regina etc. Maggi house was very expensive in the luxury category ( 300-500E/night) but fair interior and service. Here a few comments: no elevator so to get to your room you have to claim steep narrow spiral stairs 35 steps, plus addition 23 steps up to get to the breakfast terrace. Terrance claim as roof terrace with view is a roof with view on the other roof, no bay no Vesuvius, and tens of wasp buzzing around the bar and your plate and cappuccino . Ms.Alba serving the breakfast is however very good.. No tissue in rooms, no coffee maker, no A/C in the interior/walkway of hotel so there was 32 degrees in hotel walkways. Reception is part time with Alessandro receptionist is useless,. The hotel is near the busy street corner withy numerous noisy restaurants below buzzing and playing music at late evening.

Dear Guest, first of all we would like to thank You for spending time writing this review. We would like to explain some points. You mentioned 3 hotels overlooking the sea, with a wonderful view on the Vesuvius, but You will need more than € 300-500 to have a room with the seaview. We are located in the middle of the historical centre, 50 meters far away from the sea, but behind this big buildings. As you know, and as is written in all our website our structure is an old palace of 18° century, and the italian art department danied to build an elevator. About the view of our terrace, is not written in any website that You will find any tipe of view on Naples on anywhere else. We are not used to write any lies on the web or to our guests. Maybe if You would like to find a seaview room, You had to choose one of the strucutres mentioned before. We serve an high quality breakfast with fresh product and meals cooked at the moment and from our Paustry, nothing freezed. Sometimes probably You have found some bees, not wasps, but unfortunately we are not able to stop the nature. If You think that is better to kill them....is better we do not express ourselves. Is really simple to complain after the stay, but would be easier to show at the reception the problem, we would be happy to offer You a coffee... Looking Your profile we know You are so demanding, and You really like to write all the bad things only after Your stay. The reception, is written on the websites and on the messages we send to our guests before the arrival, that in some hours of the day is closed. No one has never complained about our reception or breakfast staff, everyone does this job with professionality and passion. We have never had a complain about the busy of the street as there is the law in the historical centre that all the shops and restaurant must close at 11:30pm. Magi House is the perfect place to stay in Sorrento. The staff Rosana, Luca and Laura communicated with us before we arrived, organising tours for us and making sure we had everything we needed. The ladies serving breakfast on the roof terrace were lovely, remembering our favourites each morning. The building is old and the rooms all individual, we had a double bed on a mezzanine with a sofa bed and kitchenette and bathroom, cozy but perfect for four of us. The location is on a street with lots of shops and restaurants and just 2 minutes walk to the steps to the beach clubs and harbour where ferries come in. We spent 7 days there and went on day trips on the train which is 10 minutes walk away. We loved it and you will too!

My husband and I stayed here for a week in April and couldn’t have picked a better place. The hotel is in a brilliant location, in the centre close to lovely restaurants, close to the port and about a 10 minute walk from the station. Although it’s close to everything it’s on a quiet side street and we slept very well. Breakfast in the morning was lovely with a wide selection and you could choose hot drinks and cooked eggs. Our room was great, very clean, massive comfy bed, fridge, table and chairs, rainfall shower, tv and kettle. The whole hotel was very smart, modern and clean. There is a lovely room terrace, perfect for playing card games in the evening. They put out cake and tea which you can help yourself to over lunch. The staff were absolutely fantastic, they were all so friendly, nothing was too much for them and they really went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely stay. They even surprised us with some yummy cakes and treats in our room after we came back from a day out sight seeing.
Overall we would 100% stay here again and I would recommend it to all my friends.

We really liked this place! One of our top stays. The rooms felt complete, with lots of things you would expect. The location is great, you can really walk around sorrento within 10-15 minutes and get back to the hotel. Near restaurants and shops. Near the beach too, and just so you know you have to walk down to the beach or take an elevator to go down, but hopefully you know that already! The hosts were very nice and useful. The breakfast was great! One of the betters ones we’ve had in Italy (about 5 different hotels). Temperature of the room was great too, and nice showers, bathrooms etc.

Yes. I recommend contacting the hotel. They can setup a transfer for you. That’s what I did. Quite simple, driver on time, and at a reasonable rate. Sine it has s a tad on the later side they might charge you a few more €.
