We visted here for the second part of our honeymoon and have to say we were a bit disappointed, we had a standard room with double bed (2 singles pushed together) we got put at the back of the hotel with a view of bins...More
Different from other reviews, I found this hotel quite upscale: our room was very large and clean, with great sound-proofing; it had 2 bathrooms (!) and a super-view on the Lungomare. Yes, signs of aging were evident too in the furniture and other places, but...More
This hotel is NOT a 4 star, at most and being generous a 2 star! Do not stay there, it's a total ripoff! Noise 24/7 from furniture being dragged across floors, no soundproofing whatsoever with people in the corridor shouting, laughing, running and walking at...More

I can't help you with the train station as I didn't use it. I can tell you though that there are two stations for the ferries. The one is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel and it is where the boats for Amalfi and Positano dock. The other is literally at the other side of the town, even further than the historical center. It is not a distance that I would feel comfortable walking if I had a boat to catch; though I did it as a walk one evening. From there you take the ferry for Capri. I think though that the taxi fare is around 5 euro for that distance; if that helps.
