We stayed in this hotel before a very early train the next morning to Rome. The hotel has clearly seen better days as much of the paint is fading and chipped in the hallways and in the room. The room had a funny smell and...More
Good Hotel, Would stay again. Close to a lot of places. kind of like staying at he mom and pop motels on the West Coast (USA). all the employees I think were helpful. I should have practiced my Italian more, it would have helped. WiFi...More
The rooms here are spacious, comfortable and pleasant, the location is conveniently very close to the rail station (maybe 5-10 minutes on foot depending on how quickly you walk) and is on the seafront, so see if you can get a room with a sea...More

I can't help you with the train station as I didn't use it. I can tell you though that there are two stations for the ferries. The one is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel and it is where the boats for Amalfi and Positano dock. The other is literally at the other side of the town, even further than the historical center. It is not a distance that I would feel comfortable walking if I had a boat to catch; though I did it as a walk one evening. From there you take the ferry for Capri. I think though that the taxi fare is around 5 euro for that distance; if that helps.
