With this hotel we have a very bad experience. Room reservation we have made through Booking.com. After the arrival to the hotel came panic. At first they told us that this hotel is not at this address. But we know that it is from photos and the adress was also the same. So they started to say that the hotel...

We got an apartment. Modern and clean. Clean everyday. Clean towels. Like a Hotel not being one. Price, quality, location could not be better in the very center of Salerno, few hundred meters from the Cathedral in the middle of the historic city. Few meters from the main walking street

We stayed for one night. Receptionist was friendly, we were given our own key. Stairs are steep. Room was modern and clean, bathroom large with good shower. Only it is cold with no heating in place. Wifi works well! Parking is limited, we parked at the city, 30 eur per night...very expencive. Breakfast served in bed. Air conditioner and heating....

Stayed here on my most recent trip to Italy, and while the staff is very kind, and rooms are decent size (for a double), not sure if I would stay here again. The stairs are very steep, and carrying luggage up was not easy. There isn't really a full reception desk, so if you need something throughout your stay, it...

Right in the middle of all the great little shops of Salerno, this is a lovely little place - clean, welcoming, and convenient. My only problem was the steep stairs, but I had a hip injury so I wasn't a usual customer. We didn't find that the place was noisy, and we appreciated the breakfasts brought to us every morning...

I was on the second floor and the steps are steep but staff carried luggage up for me and out when I left. Breakfast was better than standard Italian fare, as you could choose what you wanted and it would be delivered to your door at the time you requested. It is close to the SITA bus, the Ferry, Cathedral,...

We were aware that our room was one of those located away from the main B&B, however, did not realize exactly how far away. The building we were in was less centrally located, so not quite as convenient for getting around. If this is something that is very important to you, would recommend making sure you can book a room...

I selected B&B Il Vicolo della Neve as my base for the week while I explored Herculaneum & Mt Vesuvius, Amalfi/Positano/Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples, Capri and of course Salerno. I couldn't have chosen a better spot as a base. The B&B is about a 20 minute walk from the train station (straight down the main street) - also where you catch...
