Some other reviewers already wrote that this hotel is a bit 'dated'. Well, most of the coastal area in southern Italy looks dated to us. Some parts even downright ' run down'. But the Albergo was clean, with friendly staff and good beds. The Wi-fi worked, too. Only the breakfast and the location were less favorable. It lies along one...

The hotel is situated a little far from the city center, but the location is good. If you have a car, they offer free parking in the area allocated to the hotel and if there are no more places, they offer a garage parking for 8€/day. Just a few steps away from the hotel (literally like 10 steps) there is...

we stayed here only for a night two wks ago. the room & bathroom are clean enough...the bed is comfortable...the breakfast is not bad at all...the wifi in the room is not very strong...the overall service is ok! the only complaint was we were given a room facing the main street & we heard all the noise of the vehicles...

Booked into this Hotel off the street so to speak. Entering the Hotel everything was neat and tidy and the receptionist was fabulous. Booking very simple as it should be. Rooms neat and tidy with the double room being roomy and very comfortable for two people. Shower was hot and the AC worked very well. Recommendation for food was a...

On a recent trip to Salerno we stayed at the Albergo for one night. Room was very clean but cramped. Beds were very firm but that's the norm for Italy. Bathroom was up to date and had good water pressure. They did supply off street parking for my rental in a small side garage. Hotel is located in a very...

Had two nights here as part of our tour. Very friendly staff all the time we were there. As others have said it is a bit dated but very clean, the wifi and AC worked a treat. Staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations, bus tickets etc

Friendly greeting on arrival (plus a free boiled sweet out of the bowl). Limited free parking, luckily we were early enough to snaffle the space. Fun hotel, straight out of a bad 70s movie, very clean and comfy - just dated. The shoe buffing machine in the hallway caused great hilarity. If you get bored, borrow a DVD from reception...

We have become friends with the staff as the incredibly accommodating. Our room is clean & a good size. Would definitely stay here again. The bus to old town is just outside the hotel door. The beach is just across the street.

Summary Plusses: Wi-fi that worked. Minuses: Location, room quality. The long version We were quite disappointed when, upon finding the hotel, we realised that it's really far from downtown and the historical part of Salerno. No possibility to walk and quite a long taxi drive. Our mistake when we weren't more careful when locating the hotel prior to booking, but...

Well located, friendly staff, clean room, but since it is close to a main av. , it can be very noisy at night, specially if you don't go in winter or summer, because they do not provide heating nor air conditioning, and you need to open the window. We can no rest at all.
