Boutique hotel, located in the heart of Amalfi, in an ancient building, 50 meters from the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea Apostolo and 150 meters from the sea. Equipped with terrace with sea view. Managed directly by the owners, Gennaro and Gabriella, who will make you feel at home, giving you a warm and friendly welcome. It can easily be reached on foot in two minutes from the port and the bus and ferry terminal. Lets visit Amalfi on foot. It is located in the pedestrian area and therefore very quiet and peaceful. The hotel organizes city tours and to other famous places. It is within walking distance of the best restaurants and trattorias of Amalfi. The furnishings are typically local style. Breakfast is always included, it is free and can be taken on the terrace with sea view.

Back at l”Antico Convitto five years after our initial stay and this perfect, little boutique hotel was all that we remembered - ideally located just off the main shopping street, a short walk from the main piazza; comfortable bed in a well laid out room; charming and helpful staff led by owner Gennarro (who remembered us from our last visit - now that’s impressive!); nice breakfast; beautiful rooftop patio with a stunning view of the Duomo and the sea beyond.....there is even a small Super Mercado on the ground floor...this is a great place to stay when visiting Amalfi. If rooms are unavailable for your dates, try the Residenzia Luce just down the street. It’s also very good.

This boutique hotel is easy to get to, was charming and we were greeted (and taken car of) by the owner. He is personally involved everyday. We took his advice during our trip, hired a private car with his help and enjoyed the amazing roof-top every night. Everything about the experience was relaxing (after you fight the bus to get from Salerno to Amalfi)!

Very comfortable 3 night stay in central hotel just off the main street. Great breakfast with freshly squeezed juices and fresh coffee on request. Hotel has a roof terrace with a view of the cathedral - tables chairs and sun loungers. You can take breakfast up there if you wish. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect hotel for our 2 night stay in Amalfi. Would be great even if we stayed longer. Short walk from the Ferry/Bus stop. Transportation for you and your luggage can be arranged thru the hotel but if you can't make arrangements it is a very short walk. Hotel is hidden up a narrow street, once you know where it is, no problem. Hotel staff is friendly and efficient. Owner lives on site and made great suggestions for restaurants and activities. Hotel shares a terrace(private space) with great views. We enjoyed prosescco from our room (nominal charge) and soaked in the beauty of Amalfi. The hotel offers complimentary guided tours (outside company does the tours) every day. We did the 10 a.m. tour of Ravello (took the bus there). 2 hour intro to Ravello. Well worth it. We then had time to explore and have lunch. Then we did a 3 hour walk from Ravello to Amalfi. Excellent and highly recommend if you want to see the small towns that lie in between the two towns. Breakfast includes drinks, breads, yogurt, sweets, cheese, meats, etc. If we return to Amalfi, this is where we would stay.

This was the only hotel we stayed at in Italy. The rest were BnBs. It was a welcome change and we simply loved it! The breakfast is amazing and the concierge is quite helpful. A tip - during winters you might not get scalding hot water as it depends on the number of guests at the hotel so probably a good idea to have a bath earlier or later!
