Feel very let down by the management to allow 3 days of consecutive weddings and then no notice was given to anyone who was staying that restaurants were not available to guests. At the rate that they are currently charging, it is very poor. This year they have hiked the prices by 60%. Obviously they dont want repeat customers. I will not return, Its a shame.

My wife and I stayed at the Santa Caterina Hotel in Amalfi for 4 nights late October in celebration of our 30 year wedding anniversary. We picked the hotel upon the recommendation of several of our friends who have stayed in years past. This hotel had to have been one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in in all of our years travelling. Everyone at the hotel couldn’t have been friendlier. The views and ambiance were first rate. The restaurants were great and we really enjoyed cocktails either before dinner or upon return from a night on the town. Such a pleasure being there and we will will have fond memories. Thank-you!!!!

We stayed at the Hotel Santa Caterina in the Amalfi coast for a few days in August and it was truly a magical experience. The place is beyond stunning, the view is incredibly unique, and our room was perfect. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel structure itself is well maintained and beautiful. We had the best time ever and highly recommend the Hotel Santa Caterina if you are looking for a perfect vacation. Mara e Gianluigi

I have stayed here seven times over the past eight years - missed 2020 due to covid. Thhis is one of the finest hotels in the world, it is more like a ten star hotel but they only give you five stars. Most of the staff has been there for years and years, some have made their careers there. From the moment you arrive until you depart, the staff and the hotel cannot do enough for you. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, all breads and pastries are made in-house, fresh cut fruits of all types, home made mozzarella, and whatever you want cooked to all - breakfast is included in the room cost. The beach area is spectacular and the professional staff takes care of every need. There are two restaurants on-site - A Mare serves lunch and dinner - and Michelin rated restaurant Glycine serves dinner. The hotel is not inexpensive, but you get everything you need - with spectacular service. There is also a shuttle van from the hotel to Amalfi town center that operates all day and night - important because there is not a lot of parking in town. Parking at the hotel is free. If going to Amalfi, this is the hotel to stay - stay once and you will come back year after year.…

As soon as you walk in you can instantly feel the history of this fine hotel. The images of the Head of States that have visited near the entrance makes it feel special. The room is spacious and really well decorated. The only issue was, in the morning when we were in the bathroom, orange water started coming out the taps. Apparent issue with the pipes being changed outside. The manager did apologies and offer compensation. Regardless, it is a truly incredible, iconic place

Dear Traveler, My loved one and I, after two years of not traveling due to the pandemic, embarked on a vacation to the Amalfi coast. We spent six days and nights truly indulging in the luxurious and impeccably run hotel, Hotel Santa Caterina. We needed the rest, and the only objective was dolce far niente, which translates to sweetness of doing nothing. We did not have a care in the world and the 5 Star service and staff made it so easy to do so. This hotel is a true Crown Jewel of the Amalfi Coast that exceeded all of our expectations. I would like to personally thank everyone for making our stay such a memorable one. We will be sure to make Hotel Santa Caterina our yearly vacation spot. Safe Travels, AnthonyNYC21

It pains me to not give Hotel Santa Caterina 5 out of 5, especially given its storied history and all the praise it gets as one of the best hotels in Italy, let alone the world. If I could give it a 4.5, I would. We loved staying here and definitely would stay again. The location was great with stunning vistas all around. I was apprehensive at first since I wanted us to be close to Amalfi town and this was a little bit out, but the hotel shuttle runs seemingly all the time and the staff were always ready to take us into town whenever we wanted to go, and we never had an issue picking it back up to return to the hotel. It’s only a few minutes via car. The beach club is top notch — the staff is so attentive, the views are picturesque and it elicits one of those “this is the dolce vita” feelings! And all around, the staff was great. Now I get the charm of classic Italian style ands decor, but for the price you pay and the stature of this property, the hotel feels a little dated. Bathrooms have odd fixtures that are surely decades old. The bed sheets felt like they were made out of dinner napkins or a table cloth. The furniture is clean, but has seen its day. These are our only complaints, though. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay!…

The hotel is superbly run. Lots of very attentive staff. Loction fantastic. Would have stayed for much longer. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Are there better pools, beachfronts , bedrooms? Yes most certainly . But I would challenge anyone to find fault with this hotel. We have travelled a fair bit and rate this as one of the best we have stayed in. You can tell by the number of returning guests.

Most certainly lived up to what were told actually it exceeded it. The most beautiful hotel (probably one of it not the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been lucky enough to stay in) a comfortable spacious bedroom with fabulous toiletries in the bathroom. Every little detail was perfect from the restaurants to the gardens to the terraces and the fantastic beach club. Staff were fantastic, and so helpful. We had the most amazing stay which was so much needed. Thank you Santa Caterina, our stay was perfect in every way.

One of a kind. Well taken care of. Superb location by the ocean with stunning views and lovely rooms. The suites we had with balcony overlooking the ocean, colors inside matching its beautiful surrounding… We will be back (!!) very soon to join the family and their lovely vision!
