I really enjoyed this hotel for the second time in a year. This time I rented two rooms because I traveled with my family. It is clean, the beds are super comfortable, the staff is super, and the hotel is very centrally located. All this...More
We were in Cosenza visiting family. This hotel seemed oriented more toward business travelers but may be due to the time of year we were there - early April. Not sure they are geared to deal with tourists and there questions.

We recently returned from a trip to Italy where we made the same side trip from Florence to Calabria to visit my parents village just outside of Cosenza. We flew to Catanzaro and then rented a car to drive to Cosenza. The drive was really easy and gives you a great chance to see parts of Calabria that you would otherwise not see. I definitely recommend visiting your family's village. There won't be much to do or see but it was a highlight for us to just be there. Cosenza itself is small but nice although i would not really see that you would need to spend more than one day maximum there. While we flew/drove the calabria leg of our trip we did catch trains throughout other parts of Italy and I would recommend it. The trains are fast and reliable and are mostly a better option to flying. Hope that helps.
