It has been a really great stay! We know the owner from her last BnB (bed in Normandy) where we stayed 5 years ago. Her hospitality and kindness touched us as well as he wonderful French breakfasts every morning !
When we decided to come back to France 🇫🇷 we went searching for Bed In Normandy to only find it no longer was in business, which made us sad BUT we discovered that the prior owner Marie- Laure has moved and opened a Chateau in the same area. We contacted her immediately and booked 4 nights with 2 bedrooms on the top floor of the Chateau at €160 a night including breakfast.
We are a family of 4 with teenagers and everyone enjoyed our stay with Marie- Laure. The new BnB is stunning, she is great at interior design and has once again worked her magic. There is a certain warmth and a welcoming spirit that the place, which Marie- Laure has instilled on the place. We had a great time and even our teenagers(hard to impress) said they stay was above all their expectations!
The location is perfect for Caen and Bayeux. We spent times at both historical sites and local area places like cider producers/ restaurants.
I can highly recommend staying here and it will become a home away from home

This charming little castle is very well decorated with a lot of taste! The host is very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is perfect. Rooms are very well furnished with each one having its own style.
