This hotel is way outside Matera, but that's fine if you have a car - in exchange you get plenty of space unless you are in a basic room which is small and dark, not really what you expect from Hilton. The upper level rooms are much more spacious, but still dull and dated. No problems parking and the common...

We were holed up in this soulless hotel when we visited Puglia with Riviera Travel. It's also in the middle of nowhere, drinks are top drawer prices and the food tasteless mass catering. Even the breakfast was without appeal. Avoid.

The location is fine if you have a car or you are on a bus tour, as the hotel is a bit far from historical Matera. .The hotel has good infrastructure, good dining at reasonable price, including local vegetables which are not on menu, nice warm pool area BUT its staff is not prepared for international, seasoned travelers, the staff...

Some good points but in view it's a business trip, when the wifi was not working they were not very urgent about rectifying the problem and shrugged the issue off as if it wasn't there. Restaurant staff excellent but the spa treatments poor quality and reception don't see to be interested in dealing with any issues. Disappointing

The only positive was that the bed was comfortable. Tv's difficult to work, food poor, surly staff, lifts refuse to work if more than 4 get in, pool was closed because "there had been a storm the previous week". Stayed as part of a Riviera tour, which did not live up to expectations.

We visited this hotel for two nights as part of a Riviera Tours organised group touring Puglia. First impressions count a lot and we were a bit surprised by the isolation of the hotel which isn't within walking distance of anything and upon entry to the modern styled building we made our way up to our room on a higher...

Very untypical 5 star hotel in Italy. Great rooms, large indoor pool and gym, excellent restaurant. If you have a car stay here and then a 10 minute drive to Matera and the SASSI caves dwellings. Parking in Matera is very cheap .50E per hour at various parking garages.

This would have been a solid three stars but for the staff's inability to deal with an issue we had. First off the hotel is miles from anywhere...and I don't mean lovely rural location. It is set in a litter strewn tract of land surrounded by busy (but not noisy) roads. I would not recommend an evening stroll. Breakfast was...

We were pleasantly surprised with the high quality hotel as we entered the parking lot. Impressive lobby and overall appearance of the grounds and building. The indoor pool was resort-like in appearance. The room was large and roomy and even had a walk-in closet. Very unusual and unexpected for a 4-star European hotel.

This hotel is outside Matera, but if you have your own car, yiou can avoid the heart of this city by staying in the Hilton Garden. The hotel is modern and clean' the rooms are spacious and the mattress comfortable, but they use very strong materials for the carpet cleaning, which might be unpleasant . The pool and SPA are...
