Stayed here for 2 days, we went on the pubcrawl and had so much fun! Made friends with other travellers and the great staff. We also went on the city tour that is set up with the hostel. The ac worked great too!

Very friendly and available staff! The hostel is in a great position just few minutes walk from the old city center. There are Valenbisi Stations nearby so easy to move around. Metro also, not too far: 5 minutes walk towards the river. I stayed there one week and met many friends in the kitchen where we gather to cook everyday. It's quite clean, toilets on every floor - only one thing: of 2 WCs in the ladies toilet, only one was working for the whole week. There is a terrace on the 5th floor with laundry (3.50 euros for washing machime and 2 euros for dryer). You are asked to keep the mask on (covid time). Highly recommended.

An ok hostel strategically located in the old town, literally 5 minutes from the city center. Staff is super friendly and helpful and it is nice and colourful. It has a lot of organised activities and cheap dinners, I did not take part so cannot review these. The biggest issue is that I did not feel very safe here, and I’m saying this because the receptionists let people in without checking if they are actually staying there (because the hostel is big and there’re lots of guests I guess), and at the same time the hosts are leaving the doors open in the rooms, leading to potential breaks in (they are obviously not to blame for the doors). The plugs in the rooms are almost assigned to beds but not exactly, leading to leaving your phone in charge at night far from you. The showers are rather uncomfortable as one needs to keep on pushing a button to erogate water and there are no hair dryers provided. Breakfast is 3€ which is a decent price, and the deposit is only 5. Overall positive and I will come back if I’m back in town as the location and price are ace.

Hello! Thanks for your comment. We greatly appreciate your comment. We are glad that you have enjoyed our services, locations and staff. Our goal is to make you happy. We are sincerely sorry that you had that feeling. However we want to tell you that we constantly check who's entering the hostel, only people with the passcard are allowed. If you think we didn't it's probably a guest that we knew was hosted. Also we provide padlocks for each locker, and we have cameras all over the place, in order to improve the safety. Contact us so we can clarify the situation. Our wish is to sympathize with you on your next visit. Kind regards, Nest staff

An honest review. We stayed at RN Valencia this January, and I have to say we were a little dissapointed by our stay. First of, the hostel looks different than in the pictures online, our room ( we booked a private with 2 beds) also looked nothing like the pictures on their website. Paper thin walls, where shouting could be heard all day and most of the night ( my bed was next to the wall bordering the men's bathroom, people were literally hitting the wall, as showers were there and you have to hit the button for constant water flow). Someone stole food from our assigned drawer twice, and the refridgerators were awful- small,no shelves, everybody was just shoving bags in there, crushing everything. There were also 2 families with small children literally living in the hostel ( the bar served as their living room, tv playing cartoons, etc). Also, there was a problem with the terrace, the only open surface where we could smoke without leaving the hostel - it opened late and they didn't like that we brought our own drink with us. The bar was ok, but poorly stocked (I guess they don't order much stuff, since it's off season). The hostel itself was clean and the staff polite, but that's about it. I've been to lots of hostels, but I wouldn't recommend this one, except maybe for the location, which is very central. P.s. don't bother paying 3€ for breakfast, it's a joke, buy your own groceries instead.

Hello! Thank you very much for staying with us and review us here. We are always happy to know that we have lived up to our customers' expectations and we are sorry if it wasn't the best experience this time. We are sorry if the room was not how you expected, we are renovating the rooms, so some of them are now different from the pictures online as we painted them, but we think they have improved. Still if the room wasn't suitable for you, or anything else we have a reception open 24 hours, so any problem that is presented to you always recommend that customers notify us at the reception so that we can solve it immediately. It is unfortunate that we did not know of your concerns whilst you were in the hostel, I am sure we could have greatly improved your experience with us. Wishing you all the best for your future travels and hoping you will give us a second chance, The Nest Team

Went for a solo trip during the offseason, but the hostel was full of young student sports teams one night making a lot of noise, and it didn't turn out to be the easiest place to meet fellow travelers, which i was hoping. The rooms were great, and the facilities were nice - the staff was super helpful. But the common areas were on the upper floors, so people didn't really gather much there - and some of the daily activities didn't seem to happen because of the time of year and maybe it was too empty. I'm sure this is much better in the busier months.

Hello! Thank you very much for your comment, the opinion of our guests helps us to improve. The groups are what allow us to maintain such a large hostel open all year round and with as many activities as we have. But we do not always have groups. As you said is different in the high season. We are waiting for you! Thank you very much for having stayed with us and we hope that next time you will meet a lot of fellow travelers. All the best!

Red nest is a nice spot, clean and tidy. They have computers in the communal/kitchen areas but they're pretty much unusable as they're so slow. The rooms all have plugs but they were clustered by the door in the room I was in so not perfect for charging phones etc. Breakfast was decent, and cheap at only €2. I'd stay here again.

Listed as the top party hostel in town on a few sites, I was a bit surprised to find the place full of families with young kids. They take part in a regular pub crawl, but that's accessible from any other hostel in town too, pretty much. The rooftop terrace is ok for the time it's open, but suffers for being cut off from the bar area. You won't find a great deal of specialised social activities or games, like you'll find in other cities, but it's still a decent place to stay. And it was probably a little quieter than usual because it was October. The facilities and rooms weren't top tier, but the photos are about right, and the location is convenient for El Carmen and Colon Metro station. Funnily enough, the Purple Nest seemed much busier and had a bigger bar/social area, despite being pitched as the quieter hostel.

Hello! Thank you very much for staying with us and review us here. As you said, you found it a bit quiter because of the low season but still we organise different activities everyday. We are very similar than our sister hostel, also with a bar, terrace and kitchen and you can easily access both common spaces if you are staying with us. Until next time, Sincerely
