I booked in Nov 2019 for trip in July 2020, the hostal said they would take my payment in June/July. The first problem was in March, at the first sniff of lockdowns, the hostal took the full payment from me with no warning making my account overdrawn. Neither booking.com or the hostal cared, they didn't even reply. Now in July I find that booking.com advised all partners to give reschedule and refund options to customers who couldn't travel due to restrictions under their 'force majeure policy'. Had the hostal communicated with me at all I would have been more than happy to accept a refund, even a partial refund under the circumstances, but I heard nothing from them at all this entire time. I am now being told by booking.com that they are within policy to keep my money. I will never be using this hostal or booking.com again, they could not care less about customers despite a global pandemic where the majority of people have been unable to travel. Basically stealing everyone's money when they haven't used their services.

The staff is very very friendly and that together with the fact the place has very good location (close to bus station and 15 min driving from the center) is probably the only good thing. In every room you can feel some strange smell, probably from the bathroom, not so much natural light in the room, also cold with air condition not working. Wouldn't recommend it!

The accomodation has a very low price for Valencia, which makes it ideal for a vacation rental option. The room is quite small, but it is kept tidy and it is cleaned daily. Moreover, it is on walking distance from the nearest bus station. The only downsides are the fact that the reception is closed up until 16:00 and that at night it is quite hard to get back without a cab if you stay a little bit late.

This hostal is about 800m walk away from the metro station. Hostal is on the 6 floor, renovated, one room with LCD TV, comfortable bed and bathroom. Everything was clean. Wi Fi is free of charge. In the room is not allowed to eat, what not very comfortable is. But on the other side eating something in the hostal is not good choice, when in the city center you can eat very good and not so expensive food. Nearest restaurant is about 100 m, many restaurants are about 500 m near the hostal.

Great value for money. Room was sufficient & clean. Public transport very closely located. Both train stations, as well as the city centre and Arts & Science building of Valencia is not too far for a nice walk, if you're keen. :)
