Hotel Brasil *** in Benidorms city center, 400m from Poniente Beach. Completely refurbished in 2019. Welcoming and friendly staff. Features a small exterior pool and terrace directly to the lounge and bar. Daily entertainment in Spanish. Close to everything: taxi, bus, shops, bars and restaurants, Old Town is just a stroll away. Free WIFI throughout the hotel. Great for customers of all ages that want to enjoy the city of Benidorm. Large entrance hall with 2 lift to the floors and the restaurant, front desk 24/7, luggage room, games room, lounge, pool table, restaurant (buffet style) . The main entrance has 7 stairs, but a lift on street level is available for guests with reduced mobility, please ask. Paid parking available 75m away. Car rental, scooter rental, ticks for trips parks and venues, just ask at the front desk. Rooms are all exterior w/ balcony or terrace. Hairdryer, safe and minifridge (rental). No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities. No stag or hen parties.

This was a bargain week and we were not expecting anything special --- How wrong we were. the hotel is located in the old town of benidorm and there is a choice of walking through the traditional lanes with their many small interesting shops to one beach, or walking a short distance on the main road to the other beach . both beaches are made up of golden sand and probably total about 4 miles long. the hotel is smart and kept spotlessly clean , our room was most comfortable with air-con, a fridge and a tv that had uk ITV programmes. we had half board and at both sessions there was a big variety of choices , both the cold food and cooked food were superb and in the evening there was usually some entertainment . all the staff in every department worked hard , were most friendly and we look forward to returning again in a few months time. …

I didnt expect something special from 3* hotel. But this hotel should be 4* in my opinion. Every day the rooms were cleaned. Restaurant with big wariety of food and really friendly and helpful staff. Animation for every kind of age every evening. Always helpfull reception. Really close to the beach and to the town. We didnt use only a pool during January ;) but still we dont need it where the beach is so close. Highly recommended hotel.

We arrived for a 4 night holiday with our 5 month old. Check in was smooth, and room was good sized with a huge balcony and a cot set up as requested (full size travel cot with mattress, duvet and crochet blanket which was a nice touch). The room was clean, cleaned everyday and had a decent size mini fridge. Couple of niggles in the room, shower had a mind of its own and needed tightening but we were only there 4 nights so didn't make a fuss over it. Imagine it would have been sorted if we had said. Food was great, we had breakfast included and there was plenty to choose from as well as very nice coffee from the machine. Lovely lady working in the restaurant who entertained our son every morning, making a lovely fuss over him. Ample space to sit with a pushchair and good lift access to the restaurant too. Hotel is nicely situated, quiet but not too far from the beach or the old town. Unfortunately our holiday was slightly ruined on the Thursday. In the evening, we came out of our room to thick smoke on the whole 5th floor. There was no smoke or fire alarm, and we panicked because we had the baby. We assumed the lift wouldn't be working so we carried my son in the pushchair down all flights of stairs through the smoke to reception - where they were opening windows and having a laugh together. A few guests were complaining about the smoke but the manager didn't seem overly interested saying it was from the kitchen. Seemed a lot of smoke on the 5th floor to be from the basement kitchen... We had to take our son out for a good couple of hours - at 8pm when he is usually down for the night but we didn't want to risk him being exposed to anymore of the smoke. We returned to the hotel at roughly 10pm and spoke to the receptionist and said we weren't happy that there had been no alarm or explanation. She offered to change our room - pointless, given the smoke had covered all of the floors. We were told to speak to the manager in the morning. Following morning, after being up all night with our son as he was coughing from whatever the smoke was he had inhaled, my partner went to reception to see whether, due to the sleepless night and the inconvenience, we could have the room longer. They told us they didn't have any rooms available and needed the room so it wasn't possible and didn't seem at all concerned about the baby. After looking online, there were plenty of rooms available to purchase. Therefore despite the positives, I would not return to this hotel and nor would I recommend it to anyone else as the lack of interest from the reception staff was horrid. I am hoping that our son will get over the cough, however a trip to the GP will be needed now once we get home as we do not know what it is he has inhaled.…

it really begs the question on why some people provide some low rate reports about this lovely hotel, at least most reports do hit the spot by providing accurate reports of how nice the hotel is, put it this way, i wouldn't return to a place if it didn't come up to standard, this place is a really nice hotel, me and my wife first visited pre covid in 2020, and went for a break with our son from the 9th to the 13th dec , , our son is a manager at British Airways and stays at a lot of hotels around the world, he really fell in love with The Brasil, as soon as you enter, it has a modern and relaxed feel to the place, the staff seemed to be well drilled and polite and very helpful. ok if you are not to bothered about a view, this hotel is priced accordingly, we had breakfast , the food was plentiful with english and continental on offer, the staff work hard, the bar and common areas again are relaxing and you can chill out with a coffee or a beer, in the immediate vicinity from the hotel, there are plenty of local tavernas and restaraunts and shops, the old town has plenty to offer for a great holiday, although everyone can have their say and give their views, please give this hotel a try, it has in my mind a lot of positives than negatives.…

my wife and i had 10 days in the brasil from 19 sept the staff were brilliant the food was delicious and varied the room was lovely and spotless we can not wait until june when we will return it was a very relaxed holiday

It was confirmed after spending last 3 days at this hotel and returning home on Monday 19th September 2022 that u had food poisoning Camplylobacter. I only ate at this hotel and 14 days later I am still poorly on antibiotics never again

Stayed for 8 days, room was dirty,shower not working, meals were re heated luke warm with no tea or coffee making facilities in the evening and very poor choice and quality, 2 lifts only 1 went to the top floor, food serving timesvwere really late, short staffed for no apparent reason smallest pool I have ever seen and at least half a mile uphill from the beach. Do not recommend especially if you have a family.

Hello 743Clivej, We are sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience. With regards to the issues you raised about the cleanliness of the room and shower, unfortunately it is not possible to check this after the fact, we would have loved to hear from you during your stay so that we could have addressed any issues. Regarding our lifts, at the H. Brasil we have a total of 3 lifts. The first lift gives access from the entrance to the restaurant. The other two lifts are for the exclusive use of our guests to access the rooms, one goes to the 7th floor and the other to the 4th floor. The opening hours of our restaurant are extensive, divided into one-hour shifts to avoid crowds. Breakfast: 8:30-10:30hrs. Lunch: 13:30-15:30hrs. Dinner: 20:00-22:00hrs. Now i have your attention, ignore the title. Perfect base to explore from. Located beside the police station, spotless clean and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Small pool but clean. Just spent 4 nights at this hotel, location was spot on and the hotel was spotless. Our stay included breakfast which exceeded our expectations. Choice was amazing. I went for the traditional English breakfast which had something different every day. Well worth what we paid.

For what we paid this place was a steal for buy now pay later. Great location. Good rooms nice clean and good air con. Only let down is the small pool but you get what you pay for. Overall pretty decent would stay here again if needs be. Staff were really nice for check in and check out very easy process
