We just popped in for a snack and to do some people watching from the terrace. Perfectly located right on Benidorms boardwalk near the new town. Higher than average menu prices but good sized portions served. Contrary to other reviews the customer service was excellent on our visit although we was overcharged by an insignificant amount. The one small gripe was the poor state of the loo with pee on the seat & floor making using the loo difficult, not necessarily the fault of the business as it could have been the customer before us.

The location and view are fantastic, sadly the service and food are not. 4 of us had pizza that was disappointing to say the least, either seriously over cooked or frozen, the delivery was poor at best. After delivering the bill 150E, the waiter approached me and whispered service not included in my ear - really ? Not for us.

We have stopped off here every year for a snack now for over a decade. It's kinda like Stockholm syndrome, you know it's bad, but you keep coming back to see if it's improved. Every year, the service had been barely adequate usually it's just downright awful. However, this week was genuinely now the last straw. We ordered just a drink and a snack. The 2 x beers took 8 minutes to arrive after waiting 5 minutes for the waitress to show up. It was mid morning, and not busy. The snack took a further 7 minutes! Waitress true to form never smiled once, was very snotty, and prided herself in avoiding eye contact. The shock came with the bill, in which the charge for a bit of toast, with a small dish of tomato paste was €4.45. To put this into context for those not familiar with Benidorm prices, this can quite easily buy you a full meal in many restaurants. (Also, standard price in most places for a small beer is €1.50 which includes tapas as well!). The good point is the location, right on the beach front, overlooking the promenade, and the toilets are spotless! But honestly, if you're a fan of the Basil Fawlty school of customer service (slow and surly) this is the place for you! However, for us, after years of visits, this place has finally beaten us, we'll not be back...

This is a great hotel, the staff helpful and friendly, great amenities and the food was lovely as are the rooms. Great location, all rooms facing the ocean. You are right in the middle off old town and new town.
