This hotel was booked with high expectations, as we have stayed in several indulgent hotels through Jet 2 holidays. On arrival we where greeted by the receptionist who was very nice and polite. Our room was very compact the website made the rooms look bigger, The window only opened slightly , I understand for health and safety reasons , but no balcony !! We had nowhere to dry our towels or bikinis. The bathroom was so small .. to my amazement a very cheap hairdryer attached to the wall, which didn't work , and when it did you had to keep your finger on the button, something I have seen before in 3 star hotels. We asked for another dryer ... which we got on the 3rd day.Another annoying thing that happened 3 times was that as soon as we went to breakfast the room was being cleaned , on all 3 occasions had to wait downstairs for over half an hour . In my experience staff should wait till people have finished their breakfasts and left the hotel , again not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. My friend wanted a massage and booked it , as the hotel says it has a wellness centre .. Later that day she told me of her experience , she said she walked into a dark room , no ambient lighting, the girl said , What do you want me to do ? so she explained , on flipping her over she nearly broke her neck ! she then said "ok after 2 minutes ... you go !! she just disappeared..my friend felt it was all very weird , and not the experience she wanted .I complained on her behalf , my friend said she was in a rush to leave , that is how the masseur acted. When I complained , the receptionist was very apologetic .. and said she would sort something out , as I didn't want to pay £40 for this bad experience. The following day we where leaving so took back the key cards, the receptionist said it was ok regarding the cost , it had been sorted . Another receptionist with blonde hair , said no , please wait. She then called her manager , they refused to let this go and told me that they use an outside company external masseurs, this again is not what it says in the brochures , this is not a wellness centre . In the end I had to pay the £40 ... they wouldn't even meet me half way , I was disgusted with being treated like this , and would not return to this hotel. We paid just over £2460 for a week for 2 of us .. for an indulgent experience ... it was nowhere near this . The best thing about the hotel ..was Katarina the restaurant manager , she was lovely , always smiling and very polite .. The breakfast was good although served the wrong way round but very nice. Upstairs at the plunge pool it was dirty and bottles and drinks had been left for a while upstairs .. Very Disappointing.. indeed.

What a lovely hotel. We wanted to stay somewhere in the old town and came across this one. From entering the hotel to leaving the hotel the service was impeccable 👌 the lady on reception helped us with everything we needed to know and really went out the way to help us enjoy our stay. The room was nicely presented and clean, Also with a great view from all windows ! Definitely worth a stay 😊

Just back from a 2 day break for our 15th Anniversary. From the moment we entered the hotel until our departure we were spoilt by staff. Nice touches with little gifts in our room (bottles of Cava, chocolate and strawberries) both days made it even more special. Breakfast was delicious with spectacular views. Would definitely stay again!
