I totally agree with the last review. Just by chance I was reading the recent review which stated the hotel was closed. I immediately emailed the hotel and Love Holidays for an explanation as our holiday was only one week off. To date no contact from the hotel what a shame as we visited last year. Will I rebook definitely no and will I recommend most certainly not
To state this first, I didn’t stay at the hotel although I had reservation there for my honeymoon (I will explain this), but I have been in contact with their services and the way they treat clients. I booked a room with my husband for our honeymoon for 8 nights. We looked on booking and everything was really perfect. We even booked our plane and everything to fit with the available dates. Everything nice until we arrived in Benidorm and tried to contact the hotel to ask some questions about parking. The number on booking was an automatic call, we tried for more than 30 minutes and nothing. Finally, we found a parking spot, took our luggages and walked for 1 km to hotel. We reach the hotel and everything is CLOSED!! On the door was an “emergency number”. Well, perfect, we just wanted to solve this problem. But no one was answering!! I called booking and the guy trying to help us was shocked when he heard what happened to us. He tried to contact the hotel, but with no luck. Finally, after like 30 minutes and us waiting on the streets, we received a message from booking where is telling us that the property can not have us and they send us a message about this a few days before and they also offer an alternative. WHAT?? Ok, trying to find the message from the property and nothing. I had 2 emails where they CONFIRMED the reservation, one message on booking app where they said they are waiting for us, but nothing like this. After searching like crazy I thought “ok, maybe I should look in spam”. Of course, there was the message all in SPANISH. Spanish?! Not Even bothering to send a message in english. How rude and unprofessional. Even now I’m struggling to understand for sure what they wrote, but as I understand they said that they are closed due to COVID maybe?? Their alternative was a hotel from the same group in the same conditions at the same price! The only problem was that the price was the same, the conditions veeeery different. We booked a 5 star hotel with view and everything, they offered a 4 star hotel not with the same facilities. We looked on booking and for that hotel the price was like half of the hotel we booked and they offered it for double the price. At this point we were trying to solve the problem for like 3 hours and the only solution from booking and the hotel was to accept their alternative or book another hotel on the last minutes. If we would have cancelled the booking, we would have to still pay like 30% of the hotel price, but for them there is no “punishment”. Usually, in this situations booking finds an even better place for the persons and send the price difference to the hotel to pay. For us, this was the best hotel in the area and the most expensive, so nothing like that. We could not find even a similar solution, so we took our luggages from the streets and booked for ourselves another place. We asked booking if that is all, not even an excuse? And their response was that everybody makes mistakes. Except that if we make mistakes we have to pay for them. We can’t even write a review on booking because they explained that we did not stay there. So I’m using this way to tell our story and maybe help somebody else to avoid the situation. I told booking that the only persons that lost something here was me and my husband and the response was “and me, for half a day I tried to help you.” Yes, he tried to help us while at work, but we paid to come in vacation and lost half a day on the streets. “WONDERFUL!“ Maybe the hotel is really nice, but we did not had the luck to experience it. Beautiful hotel on arrival complimentary glass of cava and strawberries dipped in chocolate waiting for you in your room, would highly recommend,best we have stayed in lovely rooms and views are amazing staff can’t do enough for you, spotlessly clean at very high standard well what can I say about the breakfast first class everything about it is quality must try are the omelettes and also freash fruit pancakes with Nutella to die for will definitely return x
Hotel is on a beautiful position that looks all the bay. The hotel'staff were very kindly and nice. We used breakfast included: it was served so it was a little slow (about 30 minutes). The room was beautiful, but the wall was very thin so you listen the voice of the person in the near room. I taste the restaurant a la carte for a dinner and it was very good.
I had a great stay in this hotel. The night personal was very kind. The breakfast was really good and the rooms were Perfect with a wonderful sea view. We were there on a storm night in january and it was an extraordinary experience.
