I love this hotel, it is busy, it is buzzing, it is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, and the staff are marvellous. Carlos the manager cannot do enough for his guests, he runs round like a headless chicken, is very busy but always has time to say hello, smile and help if you need it.

I originally booked the Cabana Hotel the other side of Benidorm town, however, we were changed to this hotel. First impressions were great. It's 186m high, has an outside lift that goes up to the 43rd floor in tower 2 and caters for thousands of guests. Check in at reception was nice. Didn't have to wait too long, maybe 10 minutes during busy times, information for your stay was all placed into an envelope for you to keep. We went up to our room and it was perfectly adequate for our stay. Temperature control, freebies in the bathroom (including a comb!), satellite TV, balcony with a view over the pool, VERY comfortable mattresses and fresh, clean linen. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of food. They have disposable gloves and hand gel dotted around so it is very hygienic. I did come across a piece of raw chicken by the poolside which was hilarious but I informed them right away and it was sorted. I assume that some children thought that a slab of chicken was the best thing in the world and wanted to play with it. However, the pool chemicals would have killed any germs, no problems there. I did have an issue but I spoke with the hotel manager who was very apologetic and even offered us a free night stay to apologise. I have absolute confidence that the manager will improve anything that needs improving. Tips: 1. At meal times, get the stairs down and the lift back. Yes you have to wait for the lifts (7 in tower 2) but if you hold down the button, you tend to get more lifts than just pressing it once. The breakfast is allocated timing, either 08:00am or 09:30am, choose what you wish. 2. The free wifi only works in public areas. If you want wifi in your bedroom, you will need to pay for it. It's only fair, it's what we do in the UK. Take it or leave it. 3. Enjoy yourself and relax...

Stayed for the weekend (Friday to Sunday) in Bed and Breakfast at the hotel. First impressions are great, lovely entrace hall, building looks amazing and all very clean. On check in the lady was average, she wasn't rude but not particularly friendly. It doesn't really bother me as I don't need someone who is overly chatty. She told us the room number and how to get to the room but didn't really give any other information, I imagine she would have if we asked but didn't need to. As suggested previously, there doesn't seem to be enough staff on at busy times. On entering the room, the first thing I wanted to see was the view. It is a great view. Well, the sea view side at least. I imagine the other side would be nice, so long as you are high up as you can see the mountains etc. from behind the hotel. The furniture is very dated and some of the paintings were peeling off the wall. The bathroom is decent. All the room was clean. The bed was really comfortable. There is a lot of storage in the room, many draws and a big wardrobe. The only thing is not to my taste as very dated, however that can be overlooked in my opinion because of the view. The breakfast is nice. There are a lot of options, in fact more than in most hotels I have been in. The bad thing with breakfast is the times. When we checked in she told us we had been allocated the time slot 8am-9am (breakfast is 8am-10.30am). I don't know if this is due to coronvirus or if this is a normal thing here but I think you should be offered the choice and not told - I don't mind getting up early but I was looking forward to a lie in as it was my birthday and I get up everyday early! The only thing I can say bad of the breakfast is that a lot of the "hot" options were cold. We presumed that when the man brought fresh croissants they would be warm but no, they were cold and must have got warm under the lamps there. I was happy with breakfast though - I have cereal and toast and that was fine! We had no problems with the lifts as mentioned previously. The only time we did was on check out, but it was because everyone seemed to have decided to check out at the same time! I can imagine it is a problem though when the hotel is busy if a lot of people go at the same time and the lift has to stop regularly - there are stairs but obviously from the high floors it would take a while! I didn't mind the lifts though as you expect to be stopped a few times in such a high building. The hotel is near to Mercadona and there are bars and restaurants nearby. If you are looking for the lively side of Benidorm thought I wouldn't recommend it. It was 15 mins in the car or 30 plus minutes walk. I don't know of the buses as didn't catch them. Overall, I had a good weekend in the Bali. The reason for the 3 stars and not higher is because the price that is charged is excessive for what you receive in my opinion. There are nicer hotels for the same price. I imagine a lot of people pay for the views, which did balance it. I would not rate the hotel as 4 stars personally, maybe if it is updated a bit it would be considered 4 star.
