Arrived on the 8th September check in quick and easy staff all very helpful the other Spanish guests get the meal times changed to 13.30pm for lunch and 20.30pm for evening meal what is really hat is still too late and back home the nhs advise u not to eat after 21.00pm and spoke to Sam she said she spoke to management apparently the meal will be changed to 20.00pm what is still to late if the meals were at 18.30pm to 21.30pm that would still cover the childish Spanish and to make it worse the food is cold can't understand why as we r the first ones in the dinning room (maybe the so called Spanish like it at that temperature but I don't and if I want a microwave meal I go and buy one) plus the Spanish guests complain about my self and my partner not wearing a mask they don't know what health condition I have but it's got dame all to do with anybody it's been a stressful holiday.

With regard to lunch and dinner times, please indicate that you were brought the dinner forward from 20.30 to 20.00 and the lunch from 13.30 to 13.00 during your stay. As an alternative in our buffet we have the snack service (from 11.30 to 12.30 and from 16.00 to 19.30) with hot dishes that have been able to help you cover the needs of your schedule. We are aware, as you indicated during your stay, that you like very hot dishes. That’s why our waiters have always offered to serve you the dish at the temperature you want during your stay. Also, our buffet is one of the best rated services of our customers, qualified by the majority of an excellent category. Therefore, the last two years, we were awarded the HOSBEC award for excellence in kitchen health management. Every day we offer a wide variety of top brand products, made with the best care and dedication of our chefs. Although, the use of the mask is mandatory in all the country, we understand that you have a health problem that prevents you from using it. That is why we instructed you to use a badge so that the rest of the clients would know it. We hope that if you give us the opportunity again you will appreciate it for yourself and give us your comments on it again. Finally, we would like to indicate that our Villa del Mar hotel receives the Tripadvisor certificate of excellence every year for being one of the best hotels in Benidorm, positioned at No. 5 of 193 hotels in the city and even this year formed part from the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame for consistently receiving high scores from our travelers for 5 consecutive years. We arrived at Villa del mar and looked like our travel provider booked using into a promo room, which had a view of the kids play pool and slides at eye level as well as accessible bathroom, we weren’t impressed as have stayed here before and have a great time we wouldn’t have felt at ease as didn’t have any privacy unless the curtains were fully drawn. The head of entertainment ‘Sam’ said hello while we were in the restaurant we mentioned it, the next morning at breakfast Sam said to meet her in reception at 2pm and we could discuss it, the next day we were met by Sam and Veronica who had arranged a new room at no extra charge, the room was fabulous and had amazing views. I would have happily paid for the upgrade but was told there was no need. (A massive thank you again, to to team who organised it) This set our holiday up a treat. The restaurant was a lot different to previous stays here where no longer self service, you now walk around with a waiter/waitress who picks your food out, it took about a day to get used to the processes but it works very well, the standard of drinks and the quality of food on offer was brilliant,and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We didn’t visit the pool so can’t comment on that the beach is extremely clean and we felt very safe with safety measures in place every pair of sun beds and parasol has space around it (you do have to pay €5 for each sun bed and parasol, which I didn’t think was too bad given the Cleanliness of the beach and you can see staff working long into the night on the day to day upkeep. I would recommend the hotel to anyone as the staff were constantly working very hard to ensure everyone was being catered for to the best of their ability, we were nervous regarding the Covid situation but after the first day felt extremely comfortable thanks to the staff and signs provided. Thanks for another wonderful holiday.

just back from 10 days here was moved from another magic hotel that was closed check in super fast by he most pleasant and friendly staff. hotel super clean with hand Sanatizer placed all around hotel got to my room and was over the moon with it comfortable beds lovely shower complimentary shower products and maaic group face mask bottle fizz and some chocolates. food was perfect with you choosing from buffet and staff plating it for you quality of food was very very good and always hot every single member of staff in hotel were so friendly and if you needed anything they help you get what you needed. now to the best part of my stay Sam the entertainer was a delight had a true credit to the magic group some days there was not many british guests but she still made you feel so welcome and did not leave you left out to the management of villa del mar she is a keeper for sure thanks very much everyone and hope to visit again soon keep safe and keep up the good work

This was my second stay at this hotel. I decided to return as I enjoyed my time here previously. The holiday didn’t get off to a great start as due to my own fault I didn’t check what type of room I had booked. The room we were given was in front of the children’s pool and I felt we had no privacy due to having to have windows and curtains closed. Sam from the entertainment team chatted with us on our first day and we brought up the subject of the room. She arranged for us to meet up with herself and Veronica from reception the next day. I was astounded by the kindness and understanding they gave us and we were upgraded to a beautiful room free of charge. We would of willingly paid for the upgrade as it was our error so we are so grateful for the help we received. A massive thank you to Sam and Veronica, you made our holiday amazing. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location just across the road from Pontiente Beach. The quality of food and drinks were excellent with a wide range of choice. The staff in the restaurant and bar were very friendly and did all they could to ensure you enjoyed your visit. I loved the chill out bar on the roof in the evenings, once again fantastic service and high quality drinks. The hotel was spotlessly clean and hygienic. No worries at all regarding Covid 19, it all felt very safe. A huge thank you to all at Villa Del Mar for allowing us to have a great relaxing holiday after all the turmoils of the previous months. We hope to return one day.
