We booked 2 nights for my husbands 50th birthday. The hotel is in a great location with well equipped rooms with lots of helpful extras and finishing touches (even make up remover wipes in the bathroom) Andrea, Esther and Vanessa were super helpful in email exchanges before we arrived and then very kindly upgraded our room to terrace on 12th floor. Our stay was really wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for these 3 ladies. Thanks so much for making our visit to Madrid really special.
Very good hotel as usual. Good localisation in Madrid...... Good bed room and bathroom. Very Nice view. Nice roof top Small piscine Good breakfast and services the morning with Jorge. I come back soon
Had the best time. Location is insane and the hotel does have some of the best views of Madrid. We didn’t have much planned to went down to reception to ask the lovely ladies who helped me and my sister plan our days. Had great tips and recommendations. Sour out to Andrea + Esther who really looked after us. Highly recommend.
A wonderful hotel with a great location. The staff were friendly, polite, and professional. Rooftop bar. Plaza de España Metro stay and atm right outside the hotel. neighborhood of restaurants and bars and cafes
My new favourite hotel. The location, facilities and atmosphere are great. Rooms outstanding. But as others have said it is the staff that are engaging, friendly and go the extra mile. Specific thanks to Sami at breakfast. The dining area has tremendous views of the city from the 14th floor. Advice re parking. There is a second parking lot with very similar name to that advised by the hotel. Google maps took me there. Look for EMT Plaza de Espana.
Thanks Jorge for the personal effort at breakfast at Dear Hotel Madrid. Great selection and quality of food with a spectacular location with great Persian service from Jorge. We would recommend to all guests staying at this outstanding location.
Stayed four nights at The Dear Hotel, Madrid. Superb location in the Gran Via area, accessible to many sites of interest and conveniently served by metro station (Plaza de Espana) and bus-stop outside the hotel. Great breakfast at Dear Hotel. The server Sawi is very helpful.
This hotel it is in the very center of Madrid and have the best staff ever. Kind and helpful.Sami was one of the one most kind and helpful. Thanks for the attention … one of the best hotel that I have price and quality a valuation
PROS: The entire staff is very friendly - front desk, porter, house keepers, waiters. The location is great although as it is located right on Gran Via, it is a bit difficult for taxis to drop you off and pick you up when you have luggage. CONS: During our first visit we got room 704. I would not recommend this room as it has a column placed at the end of the bed making the room narrow and feeling smaller than it already is. During our second visit we got room 411 which is better designed and one we would recommend taking. Breakfast is not the best. Their egg dishes tend to be on the greasy side. The daily offer of staple food gets boring if your stay is longer than a couple of days. I recommend to save your money and have breakfast elsewhere. The pool is not as big as the website pictures imply. It is small and made to waddle in it, rather then roam around.…
Excellent hotel in a perfect location by the beautiful Plaza Espana. Located close to lots of visitor attractions, bars, restaurants, shops and the Metro. Rooms were clean and well kept, we had a small terrace overlooking the square which was great. The hotel has a rooftop bar which is a sun deck with a plunge pool and amazing views over the city. Staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place, particularly if it’s your first visit to Madrid.
