From the extremely helpful/kind hotel staff to the impeccable accommodations, the best experience! We love boutique hotels, and URSO hotel and spa is top shelf- highly recommend! Thank you- Kristin & Cindy
3 people , 2 rooms , 4 nights. We had an excellent stay on holiday. It was an oasis to come back to after a hot long day seeing the city and surrounding areas. Service was top notch and always with a heartfelt smile. The concierge, Diego, took excellent care of us and helped to book several memorable dinners. We were in one of the terrace rooms on the top floor. The view was not particularly great due an adjacent building with scaffolding and another that was just ugly. However the terrace was large enough to seat 7, was partially covered and was a great space in the morning for coffee or in the evening for a glass of wine to just enjoy being outside.
Great location for visiting the sights of Madrid which are all a shortish walk away. Breakfast was excellent with a continental buffet and cooked selection from the menu. It is all very relaxing and spacious and the rooms are well appointed. Some outside space would have been lovely. The pool area is really a just a large jacuzzi and steam room but a nice place to relax at the end of the day.
This small neoclassical gem is a joy to stay in. The lobby is warm and the overall vibe of the place is classy and tranquil. There's a lovely bar in the lobby and a live piano player nightly. The breakfast was top notch, served in a light and airy solarium. The rooms are cozy and--maybe best of all--very quiet, with thick walls and doors. The location is very accessible, just between the Malasana and Chueca neighborhoods. Close to sites, close to shopping. I can't wait to come back and will look no further than the URSO for my lodges.
Great hotel with a fabulous spa and unbeatable location. The room I stayed was extremely comfortable and I’ll be back. Shoutout to the very friendly staff who were always willing to help at any time. There’s a small gym on the basement that helps to get some exercise done. I really enjoyed my stay at Urso.
Amazing hotel and team ! I will come back for sure ;) The bedroom, the bar, the team were very nice and professional . Some of them were speaking French too ;) Thank you very much for this perfect stay
We loved the Urso. Rooms were comfortable and crisp, the in house restaurant was excellent, breakfast buffet was awesome. But the main thing was the incredible staff. They could not do enough for you. Elegant lobby with a piano player every night. We stayed here seven nights and appreciated all the little caring touches. I don’t understand the reviewer complaining about the location. It’s in a chic neighborhood that’s about a 20 minute walk or quick metro ride fro the Gran Vía.
Would highly recommend this beautiful hotel set in the historic area of Madrid. The location is great for cultural and shopping expeditions. The staff were super friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel very special! Highly recommend 🤩
The hotel is very well located in a trendy neighborhood with nice stores restaurants around. The rooms are very cleaned and well decorated. The breakfast offers a wide variety of fresh products (fruits, pastries, eggs) and if you don't find what you like on the buffet, they also have an additional menu. Everything is included in the price. The staff is nice, and very helpful. The spa is beautiful.
Very nice hotel, but location, while very nice, is not close to anything. Perhaps that is par for the course in Madrid, but we had to take a taxi wherever we went. We had a family room, which was very good and the adult room was large. AC did not work great, but was able to eventually reach a comfortable temperature. The beds were very comfortable. However, when being used as a family room, the entry door (which we wanted to keep open to let our kids come in) blocks the bathroom door, which was not very convenient. The bathroom is very nice, but fairly small and the shower is tiny and leaked like crazy all over the place. Finally, breakfast was not included and was pretty pricy at Euro 28 per adult and older kids. One day, the service at breakfast was outstanding. However, on another day, there was no one to be found there a bit earlier in the morning (but well after the 7AM opening) and the one man that eventually showed up did not speak English.…
