This was a beautiful property in a great location. Our check in was smooth and efficient. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The building is gorgeous, with stained glass, a grand staircase and old elevators. Unfortunately, the decor is a bit kitschy. It's a shame, because for me it distracted from an otherwise great property. The location is great, right... More

We usually book with Vincci Capitol which is two blocks away but they were fully booked so we went with their sister hotel vincci 66. Rooms were too small and the lighting too dim and room views terrible (we had 2 rooms booked)

Enjoyed the stay very much. Would be happy to recommend the hotel. It was near the city yet once in the hotel, it was very clean and quite. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and the mixture of the old world with the conveniences of the new technology and comfort.

Great hotel and lovely friendly staff that where very knowledgeable, the location is perfect for walking everywhere, beds really comfortable all in all a great stay, the only reason it gets a 4 & not 5 is because they put a kettle in the room but don't supply tea or coffee !!!!! It's purely in case you want hot water,... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and can highly recommend this hotel. We have stayed in the Marbella Vincci hotel before so were expecting high standards. It's stylish, comfortable and in a perfect location for exploring the city. The roof bar is great with good cocktails and lovely views. The only thing preventing me from giving it a... More

Staying in Malasana

Neighborhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighborhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
