Came to the puerta silken hotel in June with one of my friends as a female trip. Read all the reviews which really helped in making our decision to come here, which let me make clear WAS NOT a regrettable one :) Each floor is designed differently! I know a lot of the rooms were quite open plan or 'tasteful'....

I have stayed here over 20 times and experienced most of the varied designs over the different floors. Some of these are focused a little too much on style at the expense of practicality, or sometimes of comfort, with baffling bathroom fittings and controls and hidden storage and fridges. But the best of them - like those by Arata Isozaki,...

Staying in big city hotels is often very boring, you wake up and could be anywhere... However. this is something very different. I woke up to what can only be described as the bridge of the starship enterprise. I reached for the tv remote and a huge projector screen rolled down to display the news, I then pressed another button...

Just back from a week in this hotel and I was very impressed. A stylish hotel with excellent service. The individually designed floors are a very nice touch. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and immaculate. The bars are excellent with superb service from the staff and a wide range of drinks available. The restaurants were excellent too with wonderful...

My husband and I had our first trip to Europe last week and decided to grace Madrid, Spain, with our presence. We found a SPECTACULAR deal on cheaptickets.com and with all of the hotel options that were presented as part of the package, I looked this one up on Tripadvisor and just HAD to get it. I mean, come on:...

Its funny to walk in the hotel cos everyfloor is different. Rooms really good. If you want to eat or drink something is expensive. Not to close from the center but if you like to walk you can do it if not the subway is 5 minutes from the hotel.

We spent three nights on the all-white, Star-Trekky 8th floor. A fascinating hotel that makes you want to stop on every floor, just to look around. Super friendly and helpful staff, great room service food, and a feast for the eyes everywhere you look. Minor downsides were a really small (but totally functional) gym, and a location that's definitely off...

We found this hotel to be very interesting concept. It was designed by 14 diferent architects, each given pretty the flexibility to do whatever he/she wanted. Eventough location is not good for a torist traveler, we decided to overview this fact and reserve. We liked so much the different rooms, we decided to make 3 consecutive reservations of 1 night...

Spent 3 superb days at this holiday for our wedding anniversary. Wonderful hotel. Read that some people have found it too far out from the centre, which didn’t cause us any problems – on arrival at Madrid airport, get the metro down to Cantigna stop, the hotel is about 100 metres from here. A 3 day metro pass to include...

I booked this hotel through Priceline so got a very good rate ($112 USD) and was very surprised to get this interesting and highly rated hotel. We stayed on the 10th floor in a Japanese inspired room. We didn't get to choose it ourselves but were happy with it. Like others, we checked out all the other floors and all...
