Great hotel with intimate and chic vibe, located in the center of Madrid. 10-13 minutes walking distance from all main streets and places. I think it's the first time the photo in the website was accurate to the actual room I booked. The room was spacious, clean with very good wifi connection and a well stocked mini bar. The hotel...

Location was key in chosing this hotel. The material and the room furniture is of great quality. Room lghting may be improved, as well as some non-critical cleanliness details. The staff was very efficient and welcoming.

The building is well situated near all the museums and bars in the centre of Madrid. The rooms are not that big but adequate. The bathrooms are quite modern but the water leaks through the glass shower doors and onto the bathroom floor. Comfortable bed and chairs,TV, mini bar etc. All what you would expect from a 4 star hotel....

Nice hotel. Good location close to lots of the tourist destinations. 1 block from tour bus around Madrid. Parking is a problem way too expensive !!!! I had a rental car and it cost me $30 Euros per night for parking in their garage. Had I know it was that much I would have stayed somewhere else that included the...

The room was extremely dark. Bring a flashlight. There was next to no ventilation! The beds very hard. The staff very nice and cheerful. You have to go to the elevator for enough light to check your appearance

The Vincci Soho is superbly located if you want to visit the Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza and others in the neighborhood. The receptionists were very helpful in trying to assist us obtain medication at the pharmacy nearby, and overall staff were pleasant. Our room, 112, on the 1st floor, was decorator-sleek, if rather tight. The bathroom was spacious and lovely, all...

Staying in Huertas

Neighborhood Profile
Huertas
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighborhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighborhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.

“Have a flashlight handy. Room so dark had to check appearance in elevators. No ventilation. Beds very hard. Mainly just very dark and depressing Nice staff, everyone very cheerful. Too bad no air or light in the room. The location was great, close to an assortment of restaurants, a museum, train station. A lovely square just down the street. Madrid a great city to visit. The food choices are very heavy on ham and cheese. What more can I say! ..............:,:,:”
