My husband and I have chosen this hotel due to its location and because it is an "Ibis"! We love Ibis Hotels and have a personal story with them! We were positively surprised of the location that ended up being even better than we expected! The personnel were very kind, from the receptionists to the housekeeping ladies, and we thank... More

For 90% of my trips ( business or personal) i choose Accorhotels chain, in particular Ibis - because i am sure of the quality of the services provided. Unfortunately this time i was disappointed - there were not enough towels for double room, the quality of washing cabinу really needs to be renovated - the door didn't close properly. The... More

Very friendly and efficient staff. Good location in an area full of small bars and restaurants with an informal feel. Close to two tube stations. The tube in Madrid is clean and very easy to use. Comfortable room, quite large with comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast buffet was very good, well worth the money. Eating area is a bit cramped... More

Nice hotel with the best location. And the employees are helpful and friendly. Lost of good restaurants nearby and good shopping too. Our room was just right for us and it was clean and nice. This is my experience with IBIS every time I visit them.

Great find in a great area, stayed one night on our return trip home, wish we had been staying longer. Close to shops, bars, restaurants.Room clean and ample for three for one night. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Slight issue with the wifi but that was probably due to our daughter's phone. Wifi fine on the other phones. Had to... More

I've given this hotel 5*, not because it's the best hotel in Madrid, obviously it isn't, but it was great considering what I paid for a weekend in such a great central location. You know what you are going to get in an Ibis. Clean, comfortable basic rooms, in a good location with really comfortable beds. It was very quiet... More

Staying in Malasana

Neighborhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighborhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
