Very friendly staff. Ideal location for walking to all the tourist sites. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Rooms are basic but clean. Close to Banco de España Metro at the end of Gran Via. Also near the lively Chueco area.

The hotel was decent in every aspect, just nothing out of the ordinary. The bar closed early (23:00 I believe), the breakfast was good although the juices weren't fresh. Mostly friendly service although the morning staff was less friendly. We booked 5 rooms with double beds but only got 3 that effectively had double beds, the other 2 had single...

Dear traveller, First of all we would like to thank you for your comment. All our rooms are being improved constantly. As you write, we are in a privilege location for visiting Madrid, at 2 minutes walking for Gran Via street, and 10 minutes for Puerta del Sol. Very clean hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. I said strategic because as all our activities are close to Anton Martin station, and hence, about 15 to 20 min walk from the hotel, the hotel's proximity to Gran via and ave de alcala plus the quality of service the hotel offers outweighs the walk... lots of restaurants and shops around.....

The location of this hotel is excellent. We flew into Madrid, took the express bus from the airport to the plaza (Cibeles) and then walked several blocks to the hotel. Staying in Chueca

Neighborhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighborhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.

“Every was great. The only thing is the first two days the AC was not turned on due to the transition from cold weather to hot but we had the balcony door opened and it was cold. The only problem is the noise you get from the street. LIke I said this was the first 2 days after that it was all good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back.”
