Rooms are on the small side, but are very well organized and have high ceilings that give them a larger sense of space. Linens and towels are of high quarlity. Soundproofing is superlative. The main stairwell is gorgeous--use it instead of the elevators when you can. There is a very nice and airy deck on the 5th floor. The hotel is in an absoluteluy beautiful neighborhood and close to tons of good restaurants. The nearest subway stop is literally across the street. Hotel staff surprised my wife with cake and macrons in our room on her birthday--a very sweet touch.
Amazing hotel. Great location. Fantastic service. I like this hotel since also is very conveniently located near subway. Very close to Paseo de la Castellana. No restaurant there but close to many restaurants and cafeterias. They do serve breakfast and also there is a bar. Ive been there three times and each one been great. To come back.
The moment we arrived at the front desk people were friendly and answered all our questions The room was clean, the hotel is located in the center of town, and there is a fountain in front of the hotel . The hotel took care of COVID cleaning and masks were mandated. We felt secure. Breakfast was excellent and in a nice area, the ONLY thing was that the parking was not in the building, we had to walk 2 blocks BUT it was not too bad, service was good. Although it was in the center was not noisy inside the hotel We will definitely be returning to this hotel.
This property is centrally located but you will not have to fear noise at all. The property itself is very pretty and rooms very comfy. I did not try the food there since there are so many choices at your doorstep. The staff is also super friendly and ready to help. I can only recommend this property if you are staying in Madrid.
Beautiful hotel, warm welcome, beautiful and quiet room and strict compliance with the covid mesures. Hotel is ideally situated to go everywhere in Madrid by foot or by metro just in front of the hotel.
Amazing everything, really to come back. This would be my best choice for business or personal trips. More than enough services. Great location in front of a metro station. Walking distance from Paseo de la Castellana. Waking distance from big department stores and all kind of stores and restaurants. Beautiful old, classic and renovated building. Very stylish. Big rooms. Very quiet rooms at the interior. Good amenities in the bathroom. Great shower. Amazing terrace with nice view. Very attentive service.
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The rooms are great and the bed is very comfortable. We upgraded to a premium room that included breakfast and a free minibar. The breakfast is excellent and very well worth it. Service is also excellent.
Breakfast was nice. The room (204) was nice although a bit smaller than I had hoped. The doors to the closets make an awful noice - could do with a little lubricant. Bathroom was a good size and everything clean and welcoming. Very nice feature with the complimentary soft drinks everyday. There is quite a lot of noice from the road but only when the door is open. The noice insulation is very good. The location is perfect and we would definitely come back to this hotel ;-)
Great hotel. Top notch staff that are extremely customer oriented. I want to single out Paula on the front desk. She was very helpful for us in check in (we brought twin 3 year olds with us) and even watched our children when I forgot my bag in the room. The quality of the hotel is above par as well. If you are an architecture aficionado you will appreciate the modernization of a historical building. Love the central staircase! Highly recommend.
We very much enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Hotel Sardinero. It is a small, clean, very comfortable boutique hotel with a pleasant and helpful staff. Our large room on the 5th floor had full-time access to a large outside terrace that was a nice place to sit in the late afternoon after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel neighborhood is just outside the city center within a reasonable walking distance of the great museums and other sights of Madrid, and has a nice mixture of the office buildings, apartments, shops and restaurants. The Fismuler restaurant around the corner from the hotel was excellent and is reasonably priced for such high quality food. It is very popular with the locals and I am sure that we were the only tourists in the restaurant the night we were there. The hotel breakfast was good, and while not elaborate, provided sufficient variety. We would definitely recommend this hotel.…
