Hotel is very close to the Shop centers and metro station. Easy to find and 10 minutes walk from the airport bus station. Rooms are nice and helpful personal. Wi-fi was not good but the Breakfast was ok.

Clean. Very close to Puerta del Sol. We were there during the Pride weekend in Madrid. There was a lot of noise with folks out on the street singing until 5am which we could hear in the room. Breakfast was good.

Recently staid and found this to be a very good hotel. Nice sized rooms with good modern bathrooms. Excellent breakfasts and helpful staff. One drawback is that it appears to only have one English language TV channel RT ie Russian Television which does mean it is "slightly Biased" Would use this hotel on my next visit

I had booked a more lets say expensive and what seemed fancier hotel for two nights last weekend when we decided to make it a 3 night stay and this hotel was nearly HALF the price as the other for the extra night so i opted for this hotel and it's only 90 second walk to the other hotel, Petit... Nice and clean room with the essential amenities. Frieldly staff and good breakfast. Just few steps from Gran Via, very popular and visited as a lot of shops of the famous fashion brand are there. Very close to Puerta del Sol, a place always crowded. Around the area lot of choice for restaurants and bar

Clean, adequately appointed, good reception area, close to Gran Via, lively area, very acceptable café/restaurant area, reasonable breakfasts. Good value for money, bearing in mind its central location in a capital city. I would recommend taking a taxi, otherwise it is difficult to find - a rather unassuming building in a tangle of side streets.

Staying in Centro

Neighborhood Profile
Centro
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
