Nice hotel, in the middle of everything. For parking you have to inform you well. Not easy to get there. Stop first at the front of the hotel to unload your luggage. Then in walking distance, you can visit some nice atractions for photographs.

The location of the hotel is fantastic - close to shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and modern. Our bedrooms weren't next to each other (as we were a party of 5) but there was only one door between. The receptionist who checked us in didn't speak much and didn't really give us any information about...

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. The location could not be better, within walking distance of most of the sights one would want to see. We had our choice of restaurants, some off the beaten path and the regular tourist offerings on the Gran Via. We were offered a room upgrade when we arrived, and it was the...

Picked this place for the location and I was not wrong ! The interior needs a bit of refurbishment but it is acceptable giving the extremely central location. Breakfast is not included but there are plenty of bars around. Great nightlife too and of course very well connected by public transport. It is so central you can walk anywhere in...

Nice clean hotel, big rooms with all the amenities needed. Furniture are a bit old, but everything worked well :) Great location in the middle of the Gran Via. Prices are bit high for the value you get.

Centrally located. Lobby not very inviting, with 2 uncomfortable sofas. Stayed in room 102. Room was ok. As it was rather cold we decided to use the duvet from the closet. There were no covers on the duvets. It is like offering guests pillows without pillowcovers. This hotel is not a 4 star hotel!

Staying in Malasana

Neighborhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighborhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
