Great location off Grand Via - this is an apartment hotel concept so you will have small kitchen with everything you need to prepare a basic meal - you have small sitting area with TV - and you have a washing machine. Strong recommendation for those who do not need all of the comforts of a hotel but would like... More

Fab, Spotless, Convenient, Friendly” We booked a 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment for our family of 5, our 3 "kids" are 21,17 and 13. The purpose of our trip was to attend a Real Madrid football match and to see Madrid city centre. Our apartment was ready on our arrival at 12 noon which was greatly appreciated after an early... The apartments are about 20 mins drive from the airport and we used the hotel's own shuttle service which was excellent. The building is only a ten minute walk from the Gran Via but has lots of supermarkets, bakeries and bars on the doorstep. We were a group of seven and took two x 2 bed apartments, one floor apart.... Service was excellent, rooms were to a good standard. Very good location - majority of things we found to be in walking distance - but we are keen walkers - Staff are very helpful :) The roof top is a good idea, can see the skyline of Madrid.

We arrived at just after 5 pm which was the closing time of the front desk. This had meant that we needed to do self check in. From our experience, we struggled a bit with opening the door by ourselves. We were unaware of the procedures prior to arrival so for anyone who plans to arrive outside of the reception... More

My friend and I spent two nights at Eric Vokel Boutique Apartments, earlier this month. It was a great experience: brand new apartment, very spacious and modern, with good amenities. The apartment we stayed in was located at the last floor - it had large terraces all around it, with nice views of Madrid (what a treat this must be... More

We recently stayed here for six nights in apartment 12, which is a 2 bed/2ba unit. Could easily have slept six comfortably. The apartments are spacious, clean and relatively well located. I've found having more spacious accommodations while traveling is preferable. I chose the property based on TA reviews and location, as my niece is currently doing an exchange program... More

Staying in Malasana

Neighborhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighborhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
