At this location we never needed a cab. You can walk in a reasonable amount of time nearly anywhere. The hotel has only 16 rooms. The staff is therefore always available to you. The breakfast is pretty standard. It is delivered to your room at a time you choose. It includes orange juice, coffee or tea, croissants, jams, butter, and... More

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was a little bit out dated. Only one of each set of electrical sockets worked which already had a lamp plugged in. We stayed in room 102 on the corner near some bars. It was pretty noisy until about 4:30 in the morning. We only stayed one night, so... More

Great location! All of the major sites we wanted to visit were only 10-15 minute walk away. We only stayed here for 2 nights knowing that most of our days would be spent out and about. Our room was a little shabby but clean. It had a kitchenette, living room, bathroom, bedroom with 2 private balconies that faced the street.... More

This hotel is fantastic when it comes to location. Very central and although some previous reviewers have complained about the noise from the outside, this did not bother us. The lift however was a bit loud and we could hear it in our room, which was just next to it. The room was huge. Perfect, if you are travelling with... More

My husband and I booked to stay here for a weekend break for our wedding anniversary. After reading the reviews on a few different websites and seeing the pictures etc we decided it looked pretty good. However the website pictures are very deceiving. I really don't know how this is classified as a 4 star hotel. We travel a lot... More

I regret that your stay was not to your liking and we did not reach their expectations. I regret that was not informed before coming we have no restaurant or large halls because our preference is space our customers with rooms never less than 36 square meters. We loved the location. We liked the euro-boutique feel. The suite and bathroom were large and nicely appointed. Sheets and towels were very high quality. The street noise mentioned in other reviews was not a problem for us, even on New Years Eve because the thermal windows and wood shutters block the majority. HOWEVER: be warned that the division walls... More

Dear Sirs, We know that a few days a family with children aged 6 and 2 years were housed on the third floor and repeatedly annoyed customers that plant does. Everyone gave them the option to change room, but you did not accept it and also call them family with children attention. You also lost his temper with the receptionist... More

We stayed there for 5 nights. A great location in the middle of the famous Huertes neighborhood with all of its bars and restaurants. We booked a one bedroom apartment and got a bedroom with no kitchen in the attic! Very tired decor and lots of water damage. As the management photos show there are good apartments in this establishment, but just make sure get one before arriving. We were very disappointed.

I stayed at the Suite Prado for 8 days during a work trip to Madrid. I would recommend it, with a couple of caveats. Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Staying in Huertas

Neighborhood Profile
Huertas
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighborhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighborhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
