Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.

I was here with my parents during our visiting to Madrid. The staff, the rooms and location were great. It is very close of the main Madrid attractions and the price was good. We recommend this place. I add some pictures about our room and the view we had through the windows.

Hi Safe box in rooms ? Balcony in rooms for smoking ?
Dear Reza, We do have a safety box in every apartment. There are no balconies in the apartments and smoking is forbidden in the whole property except in the smoking rooms. Please clearly indicate this preference in case you make a reservation. Best regards,

Hi, It's easier to get train from the airport to Plaza de Espana station. I think there is only one change and the hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the station. Also you can buy a few day train ticket and use it during your time in Madrid to visit different attractions. We've bought 5 day ticket for about 23 euro and you can use it from the airport. Marta

which is the most economical way to reach this hotel from the airport.?
Dear Arianguy, The most economical way is by public transportation (metro or bus). You can find detailed instructions in our website. We could, if you wish so, send a car with driver to take you to the hotel for some 30,00 €. In that case, please contact our reception desk. Regards.
