Worst experience ever imaginable. Air conditioner did not work in our suite. The owner, Luis Garcia, personally assured us that it is working OK. He absolutely lied to us, as his assistant gave him away by saying he had known about the air conditioning problem before. We wanted to go to another hotel and requested the refund, but got nothing... More

Fantastic small hotel in superb location to explore the sites of Madrid. Excellent room/suite over looking City Hall within walking distance of the city centre. Highly recommended and great value for money.

My wife and I had help with getting the Luxury Suites reserved as our final relaxing location after visiting five other hotels in four locations within Spain and second time staying in Madrid before flying out of the country. We had our son with us and this was the perfect location and relaxing stay. The Luxury Suites staff was excellent,... More

No complaints with the Luxury Suites. Perfect location, close to many local cafes and eateries, metro lines, and walking distances to some of the best local attractions like the Museo del Prado. Highly recommend this place, spacious and clean and comfy. The staff were friendly and informative. I would stay here again, the next time I go back to Madrid.

While you may see some glowing reviews on this site, I would not recommend this hotel for several reasons. This is not a luxury hotel, this is a hotel that lacks customer service and understanding. This hotel has potential but fell short on numerous fronts. Previous reviews mention a free drink at bar and free items in fridge. This is... More

We cannot speak too highly of this accommodation. It is in a brilliant central location close to museums and in easy walking distance of many important sites. The one bedroom suite itself was very spacious, comfortable, light and airy but what made the stay significant was the service of the reception staff, especially Fernando and David, who could not do... Love this place. They were so accommodating, since breakfast was not served at this location they would bring breakfast to your room! The drinks in refrig were no charge and would be replenished each day. The location couldn't have been more perfect, was right across from the Alcazar Palace and a very, very short walk to the Cathedral. This was... More

Salamanca is a lovely area to stay in Madrid, leafy, peaceful, and surrounded by good places to eat and drink and shop. Luxury Suites is in the perfect location for travellers - five minute walk from the airport bus drop and within easy walking to major parks and other attractions in Madrid , especially the museums. Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
