I was in Madrid during the recent July heatwave. The hotel that I booked didn't have airconditioning. I walked over to the H10 and they were able to accommodate me. It was a very good choice. The room was great and the staff pleasant
We spent three nights here in April. Our stay was quite nice. I would rate my experience as five TripAdvisor dots but I'm knocking one dot off because the overall building and rooms are quite dated. But everything else about our stay was perfect. When I made my reservation, I requested a room on a high floor away from the elevator. They gave me a room on the seventh floor (out of 10) at the end of the hallway so thank you very much! The room was large, quiet and comfortable. The beds were the most comfortable on my trip of 8 different 4 and 5 star hotels in Spain and Portugal. The room had a large rug covering the area around the beds which helped with the otherwise cold stone tile floor. The A/C was working in April (which was not the case with some of the other 8 four and five star hotels on our trip). The bathroom vanity was the largest of our 9 hotels. And the shower had conditioner, which was also unusual on our trip. The location of the hotel was quite good in my opinion. It's not in the main tourist zone (which I didn't want) but still in a core part of Madrid just a short walk off of the very large and wide (and beautiful!) Paseo de la Castellana. There are restaurants and shopping in the immediate area. Easy transport to/from the airport as the Metro Line 8 is a 15 minute walk away or 1 stop away on Line 10. (Be aware that Line 8 temporarily has a closed section!) The Cercanias lines are also just a 15 min walk (or 1 metro stop) away. Typical tourist sites are easily accessible by Metro. Besides being dated (e.g. cracked tile, missing grout), the in-room safe was small and harder to use. One of our 10" tablets would not fit. Despite any negative comments I've made, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.…
Nice hotel great location restaurants serves good food staff unhelpful and unfriendly and disinterested they ruined what should have been a good experience . Shut the bar early .spoiled an otherwise good break. Complained but fell on deaf ears Avoid
I do not consider this hotel as 4 star at all Although it's room were big enough but the furniture exhausted and dated in room and in lobby There is not teamaker or coffeemaker, nor sleeper! The good point was Breakfast was good and alittle bit varieties each day At first day we realized that our room refrigerator won't work and told to reception they send a kind man whom changed it soon.
We stayed at the H10 on the weekend 13/14th November, the hotel was very close to Real Madrid stadium and the Santiago Bernabeu metro station, the hotel was clean, the room was spacious clean and a great size. The gentleman at the front desk was polite and check in only took a few minutes, we arrived at 11am and did not have to wait until the official check in time of 2pm which was nice. Madrid is really easy to get around, metro is great and takes you to anywhere you need to go in the city, buses were good. Overall a very nice hotel in a good location with to supermarkets and lots of cafes around.
Room was large and clean. Large bathroom with bidet. Only problem was that the safe was tiny - there wasn't room for even a large tablet, much less a laptop. The price was very good for the quality. This is very close to the stadium, but many things will be a long walk or a subway ride away - that was fine for us.
I have stayed in a number of different hotels in this general area near to the Real Madrid stadium (but not because of that). The H10 Tribeca is head and shoulders above the rest. The decor is distinctive and the staff are the best one could hope to find.
Good location, very nice atmosphere and friendly restaurant (both food and service). A quiet place in the middle of the crowd to feel like at home. We had lunch at the restaurant and the daily menu was wide and good. Very recommended.
We enjoyed staying at this Hotel and preferred the residential location as found nice places to eat close by where the locals use. H10 hotels are always of a high standard and the Tribeca was no different. It’s nice to be offered a welcome drink and the staff were friendly, this is why I am a member of the H10 group. I upgraded to a superior room and was not expensive at all, probably best to book a superior room initially rather than waiting on arrival as it is worth it. The breakfast was good but could improve if totally honest. We used the Tourist us to take us to the centre, the closest stop was but the football stadium but there other options also. Overall an enjoyable stay and no regrets not being in the centre as I could experience the local community.
This hotel is very near to few tube/metro stations, shops, many restaurants, tapas bars, pubs, close to football stadium, 39 min by tube/metro from tube station etc The breakfast is very nice. When you arrive you can have a glass of Cava (Spanish Champagne) if you ask for it The only thing we didn’t like in this hotel that in the room the flooring was cold as it was marble flooring so make sure you take slipper with you as the carpet is only under the bed so when you walk on the marble floor be ready for cold flooring. The room was nothing special, TV channel were mainly Spanish This hotel is perfect stay for couple of days in Madrid
