Excellent city centre location. Staff pleasant. Room large , well furnished and clean, although possibly due for a repainted. Buffet breakfast good with plenty of variety. The WIFI was free but slightly slow. Overall a pretty decent chain hotel.

I was glad I upgraded to a bigger room with king bed, view which was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent as was wifi. Location was wonderful, everything within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants within a few minutes. No fancy lobby but that is not what I want in a hotel.

The staff becomes extremely defensive upon a claim raised and the worst part is they are knowledgeable of the problems but first to give all kind of excuses and even pretend that the guest is exaggerating. Upon arrival my room couldn't be opened. (Fob key was maltfunctioning) Once inside the room there was no hot water for 15 minutes and...

This is a fair hotel at a very good location, right at a metro stop and at a walking distance to many of Madrid sights and shopping. The rooms that face the main entrance are noisy from the main street and I was often awaken by emergency vehicles.

Stayed here in March. Location is perfect for a visit to Mardrid - next to restaurants, shops and everything else in a short walking distance. Staying in Malasana

Neighborhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighborhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
