Tryp Chamartin is one of the best family hotel you can find in Madrid. The staff is very efficient and friendly. Rooms are quite big and well equipped. The bathrooms are big and comfortable. Breakfast very yummy. Common areas kind. Overall a very good experience where you really feel Madrid hospitality. Also good connection with public transportation

I wouldn't recommend it ... rude staff ...poor internet connection in the room, you can't set up your own air conditioning system ... and if you ask at the front desk staff , the answer is "go and get a complain to the manager" ...sadly they just don't care about provide solutions to the host even if they do have...

Was sent to our office in Madrid for training. Not what you expect just before Christmas but what can you do? The accommodation was booked by our Spanish colleagues for its "value for money" and location to the metro. Arrived on the Sunday check in was a breeze and the room was more than satisfactory! Superb large room and spotlessly...

It was my second Tryp hotel in madrid, hotel is nice economic and not expensive bit far from the down town but just 3 minutes walk to chamartin train station, room is small but its fine, minibar was empty whey should always check before giving the room.

Very clean, good breakfasts and a great location for travel in and around the city with excellent metro links and high speed rail. Maria on the desk very helpful! Also, three great bars next door serving drinks and great tapas.

Ideally situated right across from Chamartin rail station, to me the hotel has an immediate budget hotel feel about it. Rooms are very basic, but the bar area is much better, drinks and food are very good and prices are very reasonable. My room faced directly onto the wasteland opposite so I had a great view of the homeless people's...

Hotel was clean and in very good condition. Very convenient if you want to access the Chamartin train station to travel to other cities or to go to different places in Madrid. Walking distance is very short, maybe 300 Feet to the station approximately. The breakfast was expensive so we decided not to have it there. We went to the train...

We wanted an accessible hotel in Madrid and this was perfect. There is a 10 minute rapid transit train "C1" from the airport for 2.70EU pp to Chamartin Station which is beside the hotel. NO YOU CANNOT HEAR OR FEEL ANY TRAINS WHILE YOU ARE IN THE HOTEL! From Chamartin station you can be anywhere in the city in about...

I was here for a business trip. It was my first time in this hotel and I would NOT return. So let's start from worth: WiFi, was NOT working for the whole evening. I had to work, this was a big problem for me. The position is not great, just in front of a big area with people camping there....

We stayed here one night, the staff at the front desk were completely sour from the second we walked in, and you got the feeling they hate their jobs. The woman spoke English very poorly, we could barely understand what she was saying, which is really weird when you work at a hotel in one of the biggest European capitals....

“We were on the 11th floor overlooking the pool. The window did not lock so the lock should be fixed. If you have kids it may be dangerous if they open it by themselves or when you lean over to look. The heater was on and it was hot in the room, by this time it is normally cold but October was hotter than normal this year that is why we noticed the window lock problem because we had to open the window to cool the room. Other than that, everything else in the room was fine. I always liked the Tryp's toiletry (bath sponge, toothpaste and brush, shaving blade, comb, etc, very convenient if you forget something and to take them with you for future traveling. There is no bar soap, only liquid soap, the liquid soap and the shampoo in the shower are the same, there is no hair conditioner.”
