The hotel is modern and clean. It is near the city center but on a quiet spot, the rooms have a good size, are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel offers teas and tapas, what we enjoyed

Very clean, perfect staff, excellent location. Only negative point was the insufficient heating in the room. We didn't take breakfast due to price of 19 €, which was so expensive in my opinion. I will recommend specially for non-winter months!

We were given the deluxe room with the Atocha view. Room was clean, neat and so is the bathroom. However, they don't include toothbrushes in the amenity kit and so goes for the slippers. When we asked for the toothbrush, the housekeeper had to confirm with the front desk if she can dispense for us. Apparently it is not in...

Stayed here recently for three nights, a good central location, friendly helpful staff, good buffet breakfast,, but wish they would cook the bacon more! Room at back of hotel and high floor so quiet. No where to sit out in nice weather was only thing wrong with it.

Close to the museums. The staff ws very helpful and the breakfast buffet was fantastic! We had a room facing the street. There is a lot of noise and people out late at night but that did not disturb our sleep.

Glad to recommend this hotel. All the staff were pleasant and efficient. Our room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was kept well stocked. The location was ideal, only yards from Plaza Santa Ana,with a great choice of bars, restaurants and cafes nearby. All the main places of interest are within walking distance, some very near indeed.

Very modern , very clean, everything worked. super comfortable with a terrific staff, mid range price with luxury amenities. great location.. would definitely recommend.. Beautiful bathroom with really nice shower - unfortunately no bidet.. We skipped the expensive hotel breakfast and went right up the street to the bakery for a terrific croissant, coffee and juice..

This hotel is on the corner and the entrance is "V" shaped. It was built inside part of a church and the rooms are all different sizes and shapes. There is a small restaurant right off the entrance with lmited hours of service. You can actually see the stone walls of the church as you sit in the restaurant. You...

Staying in Huertas

Neighborhood Profile
Huertas
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighborhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighborhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
