The hotel is centrally located and very clean. Rooms are small but they are cleaned and amenities refreshed everyday. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Have to buy at lobby. Best thing is great ease of getting taxis right in front of hotel and about 3 metro stations between 7 - 15 mins walk from hotel. Staff are professional. Good value... More

The hotel, the room, the service and also the location is excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel staff was helpful and kind. Te hotel is located in a quiet area, but close to the city centre.

Very small rooms. Lack of facilities for example a bar or restaurant. However there is a vending place in front of the reception offering snacks and drinks at very inflated prices. I was struggling to find the positives but I have to mention that the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly.

If you are a single traveler, the hotels usually squeeze you in between somewhere, so you'll be used to crammed spaces. This is no different, since the room I got was very small. But it's functional and everything works, there's free wi-fi and everything is clean. The added bonus is breakfast with daily fresh juices. Metro is 5-minutes away and... More

Ok this hotel one of a very large number of NH Hotels in Madrid. This one is a little way out of the centre (that was fine for us, and was a deliberate choice). Comfy bed, quiet room, hot shower, nice breakfast including good coffee from an ingenious Swiss machine. All very good. I expect if you searched hard you... More

So my room was confortable. .. for a closet. The hotel is so heated that I slept with the window wide opened, even tho it was 3 degrees outside. There is no effort in taking care of the environment, and the sheets and towels were changed daily, even tho it wasn't on the floor. Breakfast is.... Well it's fine. There's... More

Hotel has great decor, large and comfortable rooms. They serve a buffet breakfast, very plain but sufficient. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Main shopping mall is a bus ride and short walk away from hotel. Will take you 20mins to get there. Make sure you have change for the bus, 4euros return.

Very nice hotel, nice rooms, great buffet breakfast. We were in 602 so we had the luxury of the roof terrace. Just one thing that was a problem - unfortunately a big problem. There is some of motor or fan just above the room, probably a ventilator. This made a very loud noise when we were going to sleep. It... More

Fine location, not far from city transport (bus, metro), quite close location to the center, nice and friendly staff, nice room. Can't say any thing about parking (I was without car). So overall - quite good for it price.

Stayed for one week. Internet is horrible, hard to work with, even the paid (10 EUR) boost has total traffic limit. Breakfast is expensive (14EUR), does not worth the price. The place is however nice an quiet. Location is not great, but not far from the subway. Rooms are perfectly clean, single rooms are a bit small.

Staying in Chamberi

Neighborhood Profile
Chamberi
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighborhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.
