Currently staying at the hotel. Got room # 103. Paid €152 per night for a triple room. This is normal size double room and they squeezed a 3rd bed in the same room to make it a triple room. Makes uncomfortable to move inside the room. Before we travel, I normally spend a good amount of tiime reading reviews b/c it makes me get good choices. With this hotel I did not do a good review job. Rooms come with plain white sheets. No blanket nor bed covers. I had to request the blankets. My bathroom tub is full of mold . It feels like the hotel was poorly remodeled. The bathroom is very uncomfortable. The door opens towards the tub door entrance. The bathroom doors is chipped at the bottom. I requested a different room but they said they are fully booked. On the good side the quality of the towels very good. BUT strongly think for that price you can stay at a much better hotel. Breakfast was good. Nice variety of pastries, egg and yogurts.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. There are variety of stores nearby for shopping. Easy to get cabs to go around the city. A Metro Station is also nearby. Grain Via is also within walking distance. The rooms are compact but are well set up with mini refrigerator provided. The staff is really good. The breakfast offered by the hotel was very good and the chef was courteous enough to add some vegetarian dishes to the menu on request which was a great gesture showing their hospitality. The rooms facing the road might get noisy some times. (Did not bother us at all)

The hotel is lovely. Tranquil room with comfortable bed, nice ambient lighting. The bathroom is a little worn in places and could do with a little maintenance, but still ok for now. On a busy road with many shops and a few restaurants, but quiet during siesta and at night time. A Caffefour supermarket is not too far (you'll pass some yummy restaurants) and if you go left towards the metro station, a small hole in the wall pizza place (looks like not much, but the pizza was greeeat!). The staff at the hotel were absolutely lovely and service overall was good. Not in the heart of hearts of Madrid, but less than a 5 min metro ride, and easily within walking distance. Would have been a 5 star if the online pic showing a proper couch, was actually in the room, instead of this (hmm - shoe bench seat thing) You really cannot sit on that except to put on your shoes...it makes a difference after a long day out when one wishes to sit somewhere comfortable. Since everything else about the room was great, it was a let down. The hotel offered to move me to a Jr suite for free (but the couch in that room sits facing a wall - hmm, odd). This was lovely of them, and a true statement on good customer service. Anyway, hopefully they will return the couches to these rooms. Very decent hotel. Great Price... I recommend! From the airport via the 2 subway trains is easy - 45 mins. If you depart before 6am, there is no subway, but an Uber was $30 and took around 15 mins.

So, we were due to fly to Madrid on Friday but our friend from Madrid, begged us not to go so we decided to abandon our daughter’s birthday trip. I called the hotel to cancel but immediately i was asked to email. I did this however we were charged one night as a ‘no show’ as we booked through an agent. We have tried for 3 days to get hold of Hotels.com but with all the customers cancelling, no reply. The hotel knew that we weren’t coming & with myself being at risk, it was right not too but no compassion from this hotel. Was going to rebook our trip for later in the year but not staying at this hotel.
