Thought this hotel had everything. It was quiet - especially if you get a room at the back as we did. Great bars restaurants just round the corner. Very close to all main sights - we walked everywhere. Felt safe in the area. Friendly staff, great modern rooms - pristine. Make sure you have enough time to use the roof...

We wish every review was as good as yours!!! We are very happy to see that you really had a nice stay. By the way, I agree with your appreciation: our repetitive clients ask us for interior rooms, as they are especially quiet. Once you have known about the standard rooms, I encourage you to make a reservation for a...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights and will recommend this hotel to anyone considering it. Cannot think of anything negative at all, except may be the bathroom door is all glass and does not have a lock - we found that to be a bit strange. We asked for a back room and we got it. Asked...

We stayed for 2 nights and loved it! We really wanted to upgrade our room for a room with a view and got lucky: paid $20/night for the $50/night upgrade. Excellent! The room was beautiful, overlooking Calle Atocha, very spacious, high ceilings, 1 king bed plus living room, 2 flat screen TVs, the private terrace was great, bathroom (with 2...

Thank you very much for taking your valuable time in writing your opinion about the hotel. It seems you stayed in one of our Superior Rooms with terrace, especially recommended for their nice views over Atocha Street and their spacious terrace. Next time we recommend you to make a reservation of our Junior Suite, a huge room decorated with the...

The structure is new, so rooms are really ok. Very very nice, smiling, helpful people work in this hotel. Excellent breakfast, it worths the money. Good size room, bathroom with window, but no brush for the wc! Why? Basin with 90° degrees angles, so, very difficult for the maid to clean properly ( this is not fault of the cleaning...

Dear Sir, Thank you very much indeed for your kind review. Regarding the toilet brush, the hotel doesn't provide toilet brush in the bathroom as the healthcare legislation doesn't allow us to do it. Last but not least, I agree with your opinion about the basin design: very nice but difficult to clean. We reported this issue to our Construction...

If only all hotels were like this. The price is excellent, the building is beautiful inside and out, the layout of the room and bathroom is ideal, the bed is super-comfortable, the staff are easy to deal with, and the proximity to central Madrid, while not on the doorstep, is within a few minutes of walking. What more can you...

We don't think the hotel is perfect. We opened just one year and a half ago and there are still some things to improve, but thank you very much indeed for your extremely nice comments. I hope we will see you soon again. On behalf the entire Staff, thank you again for your nice review.

When the first entrance of a hotel, and your room in particular, are some kind of bliss full, one is set for a blessed stay I guess! It happened again here in Madrid, after we drove here from Barcelona. At first glance the neighborhood did not seem the finest, but that was just our first impression. The location is just...

Thank you very much for your compliments. We are happy to see that you had a nice stay despite the noise coming from your neighbors. In the construction works in 2010-2011 we did a huge effort to avoid any kind of noise coming from outside (using Climalit® windows and even double window when it was necessary) and from inside (using...

We stayed at this hotel as part of our Spanish Fiesta Globus tour. Checked in early morning and were warmly greeted by the gentleman behind the desk. We had a very nice room with a view of the Calle below. The room was quiet and comfortable. Nice double beds and small sitting area in front of the window. Great bathroom,...

It is a very decent place to stay. It is nicely located, right by metro Anton Martin. It is within walking distance to the major touristic attractions (park, Plaza Sol, museum del prado). We chose this hotel because a friend's daughter living and working in Madrid gave us her short list of good hotels and we cross referenced them with Tripadvisor's top twenty. Staying in Huertas

Neighborhood Profile
Huertas
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighborhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighborhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
