Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de Cibeles and Círculo de Bellas Artes cultural centers are other artsy hangouts to check out, with rooftop bars that provide impressive views of the city. While the Paseo del Prado and its roundabouts form a busy throughway in Madrid, a broad green pedestrian park in the middle is a calm and gorgeous place for a relaxing stroll. Just east of the museums, the Retiro Park is always a confluence of activity as families and friends of all ages take to the pretty paths and lawns to stretch their legs or to have a picnic.

The location is incredibly convenient as it is in the city centre but expect no frills whatsoever. Having said that the room was clean, though a little 'tired'. The bed was clean and reasonably comfortable so it is a place to get your head down for a night or two but I

First, as others have said, there is no sign on the street for this hostel. However the cab driver knew exactly where it was. The location is excellent, you can walk to almost everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ac worked great, which was still needed

Expedia needs to remove this property from its inventory. Stayed 11 miserable nights from 5-12 thru 5-23. Bed needs to be thrown away, lots of black mold at the base of the shower, Towels are more like think napkins, was given a towel that was full of holes. No sign to this

I booked this location for three nights (double bedroom) because they had a good deal on booking.com. The location really can't be beat. I took the airport bus to Plaza de Cibeles and it was only a short walk from there. Fortunately, I had read the reviews on tripadvisor and

We took a quadruple room as we were 2 couples. This is located right about this vegetarian restaurant called Al Natural Vegetariano. The only signboard you can see is of Hostel Oporto. This BnB is on the second floor of the building and you could easily miss it without this
