Main problem is the noise principally the main door and people entry however I want to thank the staff for its kindness and serviability. Staff did not hesitate to improve the room selection trying to reduce the inconveniences

The hotel room was very neat and had great, funky and young style! A lot of noice entered the room and the room was very small. However, a good choice for low budget travelling for young people especially!

Great room, the location is perfect, the stuff is helpful. I would go back there. The only bad thing is that you can hear everything from the rooms next door. Each room has the name of an attraction in Madrid and the decoration is interesting. Generally, a good stay though.

The hotel is in good position and it has very good customer care. The room is small but very nice; it's clean and confortable. I was there with my wife and son, but maybe this location is better for friend group

The room was large and spacious. Hotel was hard to find but it is close to Opera subway station. 5 minute walk to Gran Via and 1 stop from Sol subway station. 10 minute walk to Mercado de San Miguel. My only complaint is the washroom does not have a fan and is therefore moist and traps air. There were... More

The hotel is clean, the staff are polite and helpful and the rooms are just what you need. Comfortable bed. Only downside is that you can hear noise from the corridor and other rooms so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. I would stay here again if I return to Madrid.

Everything was perfect, thank you. I don't know what to say more but the kindness of the staffs is really cute and the shuttle service to airport was really successful. Again thank you for everything. We will stay here if we come again

The staff was very friendly. Location excellent. Room was small though, bathroom is cruise ship size. Hot water limited!!!!! When reported it they said to wait half an hour (which did not helped!). They said it was limited!!! Air conditioning and heater not working properly. The staff there was helpfull but whoever they depended in not.

For a youth or one who is feeling so, is a good point of start to explore the town. For me, Madrid is very special, so it's hard to me to find a single reason for not rating as 'very good' all its related to.

Staying in Centro

Neighborhood Profile
Centro
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
