Located in the very center of the city at the edge of the Puerta del Sol, almost all the main attractions of Madrid are in walk distances. At night could be noisy. You could easily reach the Grand Via or the Retiro Park and the main museums. There are all kind of restaurants in the neighbourhood. The rooms are small,...

Location is absolutely perfect in the center of Madrid. Good WiFi. Air Conditioning. Can be noisy especially by night. Old furniture. Basic amenities. Towels were changed after 2-3 days. You get 3 keys, one for the Building entrance door, one for the entrance in the Guesthouse and one for the room.

It is a fine place if you opt to stay at the Hostal only to sleep and wash. Location is the highlight of this place since is it very close to most of the main attractions. We were in this hostel for 5 nights, three of us. First of all, they were doing some major electricity maintenance and every day either the lights or A/C was off. As none of the staff speak English, it certainly wasn't easy dealing with problematic situations. Wi-fi worked at times. They only give you one set of keys which makes...
